Your power is out and for giggles lets say no service on your smart phone either.

Whats your entertainment?

Cork dart board in garage. Love the game of cricket. Risk and Apples to Apples board games get used some too. Laying in bed with a good book always is an option, power or not.

How are you going to read your book at night with no electricity?

As for my answer, fire up the generator, bitches.

I wasn't around then. Help me out. A fire? A tiny candle light?

Nowadays most peoples cellphones are charged when the power goes out. Internet access via the cell, games, music, videos, etc... plenty of entertainment night or day to keep one occupied until the power is back on.

I have one just because the kids stay home sometimes. But we are probably going to drop it and get a cell phone that just stays at the house.

Same same here for years we have had a land line, still do.
Peoplel who know us call that number because we dont answer the cell phone at home. By calling the land line we know they are friends or family. We to will drop the land line, get the cell that just sit there (if we could get the old land line number that would be great... )
