While I was living in Temperance, MI, I drove by Mancy's almost everyday to and from work but never tried it. I'll have to one of these times I head up there for something else though.

Also, in Perrysburg I really like Biaggi's for a more upscale Italian place.

My legacy in the Perrysburg, Swanson, Maumee and Rossford area has faded over the pasted 39 years and the legendary history of Belly35 classic staggering events at Tony Packo and Loma Linda are just memories.

The question was finest dining, not which piece of oversized dough will be stuck in your gut for 48 hours. Myles is the worst.

Belly, I was in Canton last night. Weren't we supposed to meet up? I waited for over an hour at McKinley.

Canton is a dump.

I like Lockview a lot, but I would not consider it finest dining.

Well if we are being picky, then you have to exclude Mr. Zubs most definitely. I think you could make an argument though for Lockview maybe. The total selection and quality of beer, wine, and whisky is would beat most places. Atmposhere is nice. I guess the food is kind of odd considering everything else, but still good even if not "fine'.

Just blowing you smoke. I had a 3.5 hour drive home, so I got the 'F' out of there as quick as I could!

Steve's lunch burned down in Cleveland yesterday. An old, 24/7 greasy spoon that always had cops, third shift workers, a drunk 20 somethings at all hours of the day. That sucks.

Cincinnati

The Eagle - Best fried chicken I've ever had and the cornbread is amazing. My favorite restaurant to go to.
Nada - Guacamole and Queso are delicious, and the main meals are very good
Arthur's - Zip's and Terry's Turf Club are usually the top listed burger places in Cincinnati, but Arthur's is my favorite.
No Metropole?

If you haven't been, check it out. I've been twice during work trips. Very very good.

Never been there, but saw that. Hopefully Steve had insurance.

I just took this as the best local places, not necessarily FINEST.
Finest locally would be Bella's Itailain Grille, La Piazza, The Inn of Versailles and The Bridge, with the latter being my favorite

From article I read they did not. The building was built in 1860, and no insurance company would touch it.

Too bad the person starting this thread did not clarify by putting "finest" in the thread title.

As did I. I figured since one thread stated the worst local eateries, this would be the finest/best; not fanciest.

I agree it's heavy, however, 1 pizza would last me a few days in college. I remember we had a banquet and had like 6 extra pizzas. My 2 roomates and I ate off of that for almost 2 weeks.

In my opinion... The Final Cut at Hollywood Casino in Toledo is better than Mancy's. And I LOVE KotoBuki for sushi.
