Congrats to Eastwood on winning the title. They definitely deserve it.

Bassitt receiving 2nd team shows how much these awards mean anymore. Its coaches getting "back" at one another and seeing who they can screw sometimes.

Before I comment on Bassitt gaining second team I would like to see who made 1st.

^^He's that good lol. I wouldn't have Renner over Bassitt though, but it's just my opinion. Renner is mostly a shooter and not much else. A good shooter yes, but not a 1st team worthy player all-around.

Crap let me get back to you on Weisenborn hahaha! I just dont understand alot of them. How can a player avg 5 points more than another player but receive less of an "individual award"?

Like I asked, has the leagues leading scorer from ANY league ever received anything but 1st team?

Looks like potentially a pretty good night for the SLL. Woodmore and Gibsonburg will have to step up and I'm sure that they will. Sometimes when you play hard and play for pride you can accomplish great things.

Probably won't happen, but it would not shock me if Eastwood loses to Woodward.

--OK, now that I've said that, Eagles will win by 27.

Elmwood over PH 65-56. The Royals were up by double digits most of the game. PH got it down to 4 with 4 minutes left, but after a time out the Royals took control. TJ Waldock led with 16, Mike Huettner 14, Hannah 11, and Tyson 8. PH was very impressive in their rebounding and shooting. They really shot well in the second half. They played mostly underclassman....Something to look forward to. Tietje led them with 22.

ross ford81, I wanted to compliment you on your 27 point prediction in the Eastwood-Woodward game. First impressions are usually best when we predict these scores. I also thought that Woodward was better than they showed, but perhaps it was a case of Eastwood playing a solid game.

^^^Sll won't be favored in any ofthese games. Could lose them all. I dont think they but is possible. I think Otsego has the best chance to win.

If Woodmore had hit a couple of threes and a foul shot it would have been an SLL Sweep. They represented themselves very well. From here on in they're on their own!

I just dont see what happened to Woodmore this season. At the end of last yr they were playing so well. I guess Jacobson and Schmaker played bigger roles than I imagined. Now I that look back at last yrs stats they lost their leading scorer, their leading rebounder, leading stealer, leading blocker and person with the most minutes played in Jacobson. Losing him and losing Haar really hurt Woodmore this yr.

So the consensous is that the SLL is done after tonight. I have to admit, Elmwood's chances aren't very good against OG. They are very deep and talented. But they will show up and give it there best shot. You never know.

I actually like a couple other teams chances. I think Eastwood has a good chance to advance, as do Otsego and Genoa.

Good Luck SLL.
