Always liked this topic.

I'll throw out a few when I get to a computer to do some research/ do my brackets. But wanted to start this in the meantime.

UNI to the final four is the biggest bold pridiction I have. I also think SFA and EWU pull off upsets.

Bold Prediction? Ohio State is a final 4 team.

Another one? Kentucky sucks.

E. Washington/SFA playing for the S16.

Michigan St. in FF.

Other than that, I just have a few upsets. Those are really the 2 that I can see going further than 1 game.

Wyoming sweet 16

Probably won't have the balls to pick it.

Any 6 teams from the bottom of the south bracket wouldn't shock me going to the elite 8

The three upsets I'm considering is SFA, Buffalo, and to a lesser extent Eastern Washington.

I don't really think that. But now that I said it; if it happens, I look like a genius. Lol

Texas, Sparty, OSU to Elite 8. Kentucky's closest game by 14.

Since I put a $10 bet on it. Another bold prediction... Kentucky never trails in the tournament.

What were the odds on that?

That's a fun bet. Should be higher odds, though. But I wouldn't play the other side at -2400 either.

I wouldnt play the other side, because you dont win anything. Also wouldnt play money for such a small return on something so unlikely.

But there is no way they dont ever trail. I wouldnt be shocked if the 16 hits a 3 on their first possession lol.

Just watch, they will trail 0-2 in the first game, and then never trail again!

Michigan St. in the Final Four. Moreso because who the fuck else is coming out of there if Virginia stumbles? lol

I haven't FINISHED my bracket officially yet, but in areas, it looks more like a random collection of hot takes than anything resembling intelligent picking. Decided to go with my gut more than my brain this year, as I haven't won my friends' group in 3 years after owning them for the first few I was part of it.

Kentucky losing to Arizona, both 11-seed play-in winners taking at least one more game. UNI vs. MSU in the Elite 8 and so on. I don't know that anything is super-bold by itself, but it's a collection of semi-bold picks that add up to insanity when it's all said and done.

Valpo with a return trip to the Sweet 16 with Bryce Drew as coach. The Crusaders play rock solid defense and I think they channel their 1998 March magic.

Buffalo toppling a woeful shooting West Virginia team, which made the Valpo pick intriguing to me. Really like Bobby Hurley's upstart group.

Eastern Washington embarrassing John Thompson's son, if that's even possible at this point. Georgetown has lost to a double-digit seed in the Dance in each of its last five appearances. They are accustomed to crumbling this time of year and this year will probably be no different.

Albany over Oklahoma. There is always a sentimental story in the Big Dance and this could be it. No stranger to March -- the Great Danes led top-seeded UConn by double figures in the second half in '06 -- this is the year Albany advances.

Not so much on the 1st.

Nailed the 2nd. And actually picked it.

Valpo and Buffalo both had leads late, each basically losing at the wire. And Albany once again scared the shit out of a high seed without closing the deal.

Still bitter about '06. I blame myself for that one. I was at Anderson Arena in Bowling Green watching a high school state tournament game when I got the call from a friend that No. 16 seeded Albany led UConn by 12 with under 10 minutes to play. I left whatever game I was at immediately and violated a slew of traffic laws to get home to witness history. When I got there, UConn was up by 10. I should be banned from Albany's campus for life.

Eastern Washington got rolled, though. John Thompson should really be proud of his son for pulling that one out. Seriously. This was the first year JTIII did not lose to a double-digit seed in the last seven NCAA tournaments.
