I am also in the process of updating Laley's Google Doc that we used last year. I believe the copy I made I selected to share it with everyone who already had access to the one from last year. If not let me know I can share it with you...

I found a flaw in that...It was pretty damn accurate, but not 100%.

I might fix it tonight/tomorrow. If I do, I will send it to anyone who wants it. Ill make it in Excel this year, though, instead of Google Docs. More features available, despite the easiness of sharing on Google Docs.

What was the flaw? I noticed some of your formulas you weren't pulling all the cells for teams (It seemed like you had it set at us doing only 8 players and not 12 haha).

haha, I hadnt even noticed that...

But, the projected points were accurate for like all seeds except 1 (obviously because I had an issue figuring a formula for all four 1s making it) and then like 5 and 3...I dont know what the issue was. But, regardless, I have a better design for it this year (in my head at least).

I also just realized that the projected points could only project 1 game at a time for the lower seeds. Because my formula defaulted to havibng them being the lower seed again if they won, which is not 100% certain.

Not sure how I can fix that, but my OCD will kick in Im sure.

Lol definitely agree. As for someone drafting at the top I wouldn't be that upset but I don't think 7 of us would vote to redraft anyway.

Yeah, snake draft. And because the players aren't guaranteed anything more than 1 game, you're correct in it not mattering a whole lot.

Yeah if you end up having a "bad pick" ie one smack in the middle but you end up drafting guys who all make it to Sweet 16 or later, you're all good.

I haven't been around much on the cbb forum this year but I love this contest

Its also the nature of brackets. We will all be drafting the way we fill them out, for the most part. Since none of us will have the same brackets, none of us will have the same draft strategy.
