Just got back from the Dominician Republic. I stayed at Dreams LaRomana. The vacation itself was great and I had a ton of fun. It was a good week. Leaving is where it all went wrong. First our flight was delayed two hours. The flight itself was filled with young Dominican children running around and screaming the whole trip. It was the worst flight I have ever been on.

Then Sunday night I get ready for bed when my stomach just explodes. I spent the next 6-7 hours in the bathroom before I finally decided I had to go to the hospital. I got Cholera. They gave me 3 bags of IV fluid and I've been at home ever since. It's fucking horrible.

That sounds awful. I had salmonella in sixth grade that I had to deal with for a ten hour drive back to philly from cinci. I was shitting blood for 4 days

I couldn't imagine being in a car like this I would have to get off at each exit

I'm going to the DR in 2 weeks for an all inclusive. Hope I don't get what you got!

Still no bad vacations here. Our Boston trip in June was interesting, though. My brother forgot his wallet at home and didn't realize it until we were going through security at the airport. Luckily, my roommate works from home and was able to bust ass and get it to him within an hour. They had just called the final boarding group when he walked up to our gate.

On the way home, the Uber we had set up the night before didn't show up, and then claimed car trouble when we contacted him. That's fine, but FUCKING CALL US. So we had to scramble a bit and got to the airport with barely any time to spare.

My honeymoon. The. Worst.

when i was a kid (like 4 years old) my family spent 2 days camping at seneca lake. on day 2, my grandma died and we went home. about 2 years later, we went back to seneca lake, and on the first day, my uncle (also my godfather) was killed in a car wreck. We don't go to seneca lake anymore.
