Becks album was awesome. I saw him live last year at Forecastle and he was the best performance of anyone there. I love Jack White but his performance was better.
BTW I Dragons suck live.

BTW since it's kinda a music thread what everyone listening to lately. I think my favorite recent album is The Decemberists. Anyone planning any festivals this year. I will probably choose between Bonaroo and Firefly. It Paul Mcartneys at Firefly that will probably make it my choice.

Former Huddler/OCer Upper90 is a music writer/critic. He said the Beck album was one of his favorites of the year, and I trust pretty much anything he says. I would bet he has listened to more albums this year than almost anyone on here.

I see probably 30-50 live shows a year mainly at festivals and local shows. Beck was someone I saw last year who I only went because no one else was playing at the same time that interested me. He blew me away though. I bought his album and it was really good. His popularity has really grown to this year. He went from like 5 or 6th or the firefly lineup to headlining Hangout festival which is always one of the best festivals of the year.
