OSU is grossly loaded. They will not only win the national championship, but they will blow every team out of their schedule. You simply are not coming within 3 TDs of this team. I hope we play Alabama next year so we can beat them again. They are a fantastic warm up game.

I did Google him. He sucks. I'm only concerned about getting to the playoff game and beating Bama. Oregon sucks, they won't win a championship until they grow up.

Saw the rules committee will looking into shortening the distance lineman can block down field on run plays. Personally, I like the idea of doing that.

We already have to 8 yards, good luck to officials having to monitor this rule. Good god here comes the debate over phantom ineligible receiver downfield calls

Why would this be? Worried too much of the big bad lineman hurting the little itty bitty DB?

I believe it's because a lot of teams have run/pass option plays but by the time they pass it the lineman are way downfield so you hardly ever see it actually called even though it could probably be called fairly often.

I see, but on the pass plays they cannot be downfield anyways...and if it is a run then I think they should be able to go downfield and block. What yardage are they talking about? Ya dont see them blocking downfield alot as it is.

Then start calling the current rule. Problem solved.
