Kind of a "who gives a fuck" tournament field, but Tiger is going to be in contention going into the weekend.

51 year old Davis Love forcing this thread to the top. Good stuff.

He was the guy before Mickelson was even on tour.

4 straight birdies for Tiger but it followed a triple bogey

Why does DL3 walk around like he's got a rod up his ass?

Davis Love was my favorite golfer when I first got into the game. I've met him and his brother (his caddy) on several occasions. My dad's friend is friends w/ his bro and would always hook up with passes to Firestone when Davis would qualify.

His name is Davis Love III....you expect him to belch the alphabet?

Golf was real good back in Love's days.

Looks like the one of the only reasons to watch CBS for golf is on his way out. Feherty and CBS are apparently parting ways. I'm sure Fox is going to open the check book for him, but I would like to see him stick with GC and NBC.

far from PGA golf, but i played these 2 courses in the past 10 days. Both are amazing.

Bully Pulpit:

The Links of North Dakota:

Full disclosure, neither course looked as pretty as these pictures appear. But it was mainly due to the smoke from all the wildfires in Washingon/Montana/Idaho/Canada.

That Bully Pulpit course looks amazing...kinda reminds me of a course outside of Denver called Arrowhead with the stark rock formations.

Great article. His self deprecating comedy style makes his endearing. He is flawed and broken and freely admits it. He is also brilliant and hilarious. What a character. Sad to see him leave CBS. The back and forth he and McCord could get into was unmatched.

El Tigre let *****, steroids and poor advice from "advisors" steer him into a dark hole that will one day be a 30 for 30 episode.

And every single fucking one of us will watch it with mouths agape. love him or hate him, he was interesting, and made the game interesting. Not a lot of players can say that.

He was a great golfer but shitbag as a person because he was obviously raised without consequences by a psychopathic father. Guys like Speith & Day who may not win 14 majors but will probably win 5 or 6 a piece are much more enjoyable to root for.
