The failure to run the ball on the 2nd and goal at the 5 yd line play with 2:06 to go was key to the final result. They get to the 2 min warning on that play and Brady wouldn't have had the time he did to do all those dink passes. Would have had to go downfield more and risk the interception. Giants had the interception in their hands, but that hard ground causes a lot of missed picks just like it causes a lot of incompletions. Great game!

I tend to agree, they should run the ball more, but they never let a guy get comforable.

For what ever reason the Giants feel that a 4 headed RB monster is the way to go, however all that really does is limit each guy, and never really gets one guy going. Because they swap so often, there is no chance for a back to get in to a rhythm and be able to be trusted.

Many pregame guys earlier said the Cards will win in Seattle because Arizona is the better team.

I think Seattle kicks it in gear tonight and becomes a NFC threat for the SB

Seattle 27
Arizona 16

The Cardinals aren't that great. Good, but the talks of them being great early on are overblown. Carson Palmer is their QB. Chris Johnson is their RB. I mean, 3 years ago, those guys were basically unemployable.

Carson Palmer is an MVP candidate (not going to win, but top 5 for sure). And Chris Johnson isn't having a bad year.

They're a pretty good team.

Kurt Warner was bagging groceries before he got a tryout with the Rams.

To or about the line of scrimmage? That needs a change in wording. Too open

That play should be called a safety IMO....ball landed on the 7 and no where near anyone. LOS was the 10

Peyton breaks Favre record and gets benched. 5-20 4 picks. This has to be his final year. 17 picks this year already

Remember when the Packers were once 6-0? Fast forward a few weeks and now they're in one of the wild card spots.

Drew Stanton cheering Ellington on brought the lulz. It looked like afterward Palmer was motioning someone in the crowd to suck it.

Those 2 moments have to be gifs. Stanton looked goofy as hell cheering Ellington then taunting Chancellor, lol.

I just think expectations jumped very fast for him BECAUSE they got to the playoffs so quickly. A QB who slowly got built up and took 3-4 years to even make the playoffs wouldn't get the same criticism.

He's actually been mediocre to good his entire career, at least 80% of it. It's just the bad 20% usually came in the playoff games or the spotlight games where he got some attention. He's got a near 88 overall QBR for his career.

...and yes, he can win league MVP this year but if he chokes in his first playoff game, the arguments will remain.
Andy dalton sucks. Take the blinders off, realize that, enjoy the ride of this year, and then come back Ina few years and say "yes, he does suck"

Sure, Palmer is having a good year. He's still Carson Palmer. What has he ever achieved besides being good? And yes, Arizona is certainly capable of winning the NFC, given that the NFC really is pretty weak. Their only hump is basically Carolina on the road, which is a decent match-up for the Cardinals considering they can get you in a shootout.

It will be important for Arizona to get the 2-seed, and not end up having to play Green Bay or New York potentially in a wild card game.

Lol. You do this every week. Make a prediction that turns out to be wrong. Then try and spin.

What prediction did I make?

...and what has Carson Palmer ever done? He's winning in the regular season. The same thing Andy Dalton gets no credit for.

Not really, because I just don't understand the idea that there is any confidence in a Carson Palmer led team in the post-season. Based on what? The guy has been ridiculed for not being clutch or avoiding the choke play his whole career.

This isn't really a Dalton debate at all.

Yet you are jerking off to dalton's recent stretch of play. Quit contradicting yourself.

Your comments on Arizona and Palmer before the game last night were just straight wrong.
