If a boy, currently, goes into a girls bathroom for any reason he gets suspended (for good reason). If a boy, calls himself a girl, and goes into a girls bathroom then he is allowed (in some jurisdictions, but it is coming to everywhere in the US soon).

I don't care if you are gay, straight, trans, bi, whatever, but why can't week keep the idea of going to the bathroom in whatever one you have the parts for?

I agree with this. My 8 year old son saw this on tv and asked why this guy was dressed like a woman. My reply was "because he wants to" my son said ok and went back to playing on the computer.

I know he seemed to brush it off but he probably is scarred for life now.

Not really that difficult to understand my view point. Obviously single person bathrooms can/are both genders. However, public bathrooms where they are many/multiple use, those should be based on the actual physical parts of the person.

What does having the "same parts" have to do with ending up on the sexual predator list? Why would you end up on the predator list for using a restroom while having different parts?

I've thought about that a few times over the years, I honestly don't have a great answer and am still unsure. I guess whatever gender a hermaphrodite mostly identifies with would be what bathroom they would go to (as in, are they more feminine and attracted to men? go to the women's, and vice versa).

As a grown man, if I walk into a women's bathroom I can be arrested for voyeurism, which would put me on the sexual predator's list. Why, if I happen to say I feel like a woman but still have all of the same parts, should it be ok for me to walk into that same women's bathroom?

True.

Woman routinely hit the guys restroom at the local place I go to and it is no big deal other than having to wait longer, which sometimes does suck!

I think he was speaking in general.

I know if I walked in and saw a women in the men's locker room, I would do a double take as it would throw me off. But it wouldn't bother me.

I know my wife would be highly bothered if a man was in the women's bathroom.

On the same note, if I had a daughter (3 boys, so I don't) I know it would bother me if a man was in the bathroom with her (kind of would bother me if a man was in the bathroom with my wife too).

Forget bathrooms for a minute, what about locker rooms at the gym or locker rooms in HS gym class?

At least in a public bathroom people aren't completely naked and changing, in a locker room at the gym or HS gym they are.

There are some places that already allowing men, who identify as women, to use the women's locker room. I can tell you that a majority of women would NOT be ok with seeing a naked transgender man in their locker room.

You are slowly getting to the point. Why is it voyeurism? If a guy can get arrested for using a women's bathroom because they might like what they see, what about a women who might like what they see?

I totally understand you don't want any dude who claims they are now a girl to be in the restroom with your daughter, but then how can you be OK with girls who might be sexually attracted to her?
