Knowing that Cuoco actually dated Leonard in real life is a lot bigger hit for me than the length of her hair. She may not be as hot with short hair, but she's still damn hot.
Maybe it's because of the tv distorting her body, but seeing her in bikini shots her body is somewhat surprisingly amazing.

There are some girls that look ok, but it's almost never an improvement. Berry is the only exception I can think of.
