Neutron Man is totally different from these guys. NM never moved down to the front row to draw attention to himself. He was also a HUGE contributor to the band and actually had the band over to his house several times.


When those guys do something like this, I will respect them:

He helped to raise money for both groups and, being the owner of several restaurants, frequently catered lunches for the students after the marching band and cheerleading tryouts. Spawning from his popularity, a Neutron Man Beanie Baby was even created. A portion of the money generated from sales went to a cheerleading scholarship.

Nice recap Wally...NM was a good dude, owned a couple Ponderosa Steakhouses and TBDBITL members often got a freebie if Orlis was in the house when they stopped in. I really hate when someone compares him to these new turds. Caveman came by our tailgate at the ILL gane this year and one of the women there got all amped up and wanted us all to get in a pic with him, I said "No Fkn Way".

If he in fact charges then the saps who actually pay are to blame for the overexposure...That puts him on par with those creeps in Time Square dressed in costumes asking for a dollar per picture.

The only interaction I had with Neutronman was at stagg nite in st henry. He also went to fish mos after the event, as many people did, and he danced on the bar and such. Just in listening to him talk a little bit he whined and whined about the prices of tix and didnt think he would afford them anymore.

My "cool story bro" moment: When I was like 18/19, he came into the retail store in which I was working. He acted like a badass, and no one really knew who he was (he didn't have the stupid outfit on). When he told us who he was, he got PISSED that no one wanted to take a picture with him (wanted $10 a piece), an autograph or anything. Complete tool.



I would think OSU could put a stop to him by simply going after him for trademark infringements?

Used to go to stagg night for a few years when I knew much of the football staff there. For like 40-50 bucks it was a wedding style buffet meal, all you could drink bottled beer and just hang around and listen to current and former buckeyes, and some NFL players, tell stories. It was a huge, huge fundraiser and towards the end it seemed like it garnered more and more out of towners. Think it topped out at around 75 a piece toward the end of its run. I stopped going when Vrabel stopped showing up as he was the life of the whole event. Just got boring after that.
