"I deserve more than 11 (12) carries," Elliott said. "I really do. I can't speak for the playcaller. I don't know what was going on."- Zeke

He then declared for the draft, along with Cardale

I understand his being disappointed. I think he should not have said that to the media.

Not with games left the season. How do you really go from there?

Zeke is dead on. He might be the most under used player in the country. How do you have a 3rd and 2 and he doesnt get the ball?

He is right, players didnt lose that game. Coaches did

Yeah not a good thing to say even if he's right. Keep that internal.

Naaa.... call them out. Say what every one is thinking....obvious that he coaches play calling cost Jones millions and Zeke the heisman.

You praise in public and criticize in private. I think Zeke just made a mistake in an emotional situation. I am concerned moving forward that we seem to have several players more interested in the NFL than beating tsun and winning a bowl game.

Call them out in private. Taking internal things public can destroy chemistry and cause the team to collapse. This was a poor choice by Zeek, who usually says and does all the right things.

Throw the fucking football downfield. Seriously the worst play calling I have ever seen. We basically ran the spread like a JV team with a fast QB

While he's 100% right in his assessment, you can't call your coaches out in public, especially with at least two more games to be played ... No doubt, a bowl game and MICHIGAN. And you certainly don't declare for the NFL. That's just not fair to your teammates. I'm sure he's going to regret that in the morning and apologize.... I sure as hell hope he doesn't double down on that. Obviously, an emotional loss :(

He is basically a professional athlete now. Elite college players are being fleeced for millions with nothing in return but a "free education". OSU makes millions off of him.

As far as the game goes, that was top 5 of the worst games I've attended in person, of any team in any sport (and at my age, I've been to a lot of them).... Nothing like sitting on a cold rain and wind to watch your favorite team lay an egg in a huge game.

I'll say this also, as a season ticket holding alumnus who travels half the state to go to the games, I don't mind one 8 pm game a year early in the season, but two, especially in November?(Minnesota). Late November games outdoors should be played early, to optimize the chance for better game conditions.

You don't have to tell me that... I've ranted many a time on the NCAA and what it's become....including my previous post, because that is what drives the insane start times.

Let me clarify a bit before someone jumps my shit....D1 college football has morphed into a pro game and a money grab. I know it'll never get back to the traditional ways of college amateur athletics ...it doesn't mean I have to like it or that I can't mourn the loss.

I'd probably care more about EZE calling out the coaches' shitty play-calling as a bad thing that should have been private, if not for the fact that during the game, the announcers were essentially predicting calls before they were made and harping on how unimaginative and predictable things were. When the entire country is basically like "WTF?!?!?" looking at a team's offensive game plan, I don't have much of a beef with a nearly-ignored star player voicing that sentiment out loud.

It was really one of the more mind-boggling things I'd seen. MSU was selling out to stop Barrett and OSU never reacted to that and just seemed to be in this "They don't have their starting QB; we got this." mindset and kept playing into their hands. If not for defense and special teams setting up both their TDs, that would have been a complete mauling.

No one is forcing any college football player to take the deal. They are welcome to spend 3 years getting ready for the NFL.

I still believe. PSU beating MSU isn't far fetched and we can beat Michigan.

Besides them handing us two touchdowns, we didn't do shit offensively. Zeke may have only had 12 touches, but the entire team only had 45. (17 rushes by JT and Braxton, 16 passes )

Totally agree with you. It's not that it was bad, it's that it was atrocious. I understand going for short passes and runs in the first half but the last 1.5 quarters it was completely dry. Just terrible terrible play calling. I guarantee if you gave me a sheet I could do better than 132 yards of O
