This game was a blow out and never in doubt that OSU would win. The turnovers killed us and this easily could have been 70-0 without them.

1-0. On to the next game.

When they showed Buckeye Cowboy, Fowler started talking about him and you could sense Herbie looking at Fowler saying he didn't want to talk about this jackass.

Even Fowlers wording about these mid life crisis jackasses seemed to have a bit of a backhanded tone to it. Basically the producers forced it upon them

Could definitely tell Herbie didn't like it. Seemed like he made a comment about just staying with Brutus and tradition.

Lane Stadium was a cool little stadium. Plenty of sound in there, though I think it's ridiculous they piped in their band playing over the loud speakers.
Best I've ever been treated on the road though. The hospitality was first class. People invited us into their tailgates left and right. Then post game were very friendly. It wasn't as loud as I thought it'd be, but enter sandman was pretty badass.

Loved that Cardale was given the nod after most thought it would be JT. A few of his short throws were off and lacked touch, but he's still a beast. If he's the guy, I'd rather see more Zeke and less read option.

What luxury to also have JT who can immediately step in and throw strikes.

Honestly, it's just going to be a warm up for the Buckeyes until the Final Four. My observations, from a non-fan...why did they keep calling read option plays for Cardale? He had some nice runs, but damn, if he drops back and passes, he's almost untouchable. The only times they got in trouble it seemed was when they were stubborn with some of those play calls. Deep down, I know it's still tough for Urban to adjust to having a prototypical NFL style QB.

Zeek needs more carries if we are going to be successful. I don't mind Cardale running but he shouldn't be getting more attempts than our RB.

I wasn't super happy about our performance last night, especially the offensive play calling, but the talent is definitely what won us that game. That's a sign of good things to come I think and I wouldn't want to play this team as the season progresses as they will be much better come playoff time.

Good question and I have no idea. The play calling was very frustrating but we won so I can't complain too much. I don't know enough about football to really understand the in-depth strategy of offensive play calling but it seemed they were extremely hesitant to A) Run Zeek and B) air it out deep both of which I would expect to be strengths of our offense.

Thank god for Braxton. He really put the team on his back and gave us the spark we needed. I'd much rather have him out there than Wilson or Marshall. I also think Braxton should return kicks instead of Zeek.

Braxton Miller is reminding my of Donte Love of Ball St before his neck injury ending his career....he was destined for goodness on Sunday's.

Anyone else a little disappointed that Braxton didn't get a passing attempt? I would have loved to see him get a running TD, a receiving TD, and a passing TD in the same game. Also, is Braxton a darkhorse for the Heisman? He's going to be making some big time plays on what will probably be the #1 team headed into the Heisman voting and its pretty easy to say Game 1 Braxton was the MVP.

Looking at the stats, did our LB, Raekwon McMillan, actually catch a 29 yard pass? I don't remember this..

Passing attempts might not come till later in the season. Didn't he say he still did not have full range of motion during the Summer?

While you should never look past ANYone... as a fan, I refuse to look past this date. 3 tough weeks right in a row, considering we are fortunate enough to make the B1G champ game.

The playcalling was 100x better than last year against Va Tech, so I'll take it.

I'm glad you posted that. Herbie seemed pretty impressed with that play but I didn't see what was so special about it until now. That was pretty nice.

I'm seeing a lot of dumbasses spouting off on the social media today.

"OSU was sloppy"
"Not the #1 team"
"JT should start"
"No way in hell they repeat"

I fucking love it.
