Pizza Fridays since I was a kid.

I enjoy a few slices of pizza every couple of months. In terms of pizza found in Ohio, Pisanellos is the best I've ever had. Dislike most of the known chains, though always had an affinity for East of Chicago. There is still a store on Heatherdowns in Toledo that I order from on occasion.

My food of choice is Chinese. I frequently eat it three or four times a week. Toledo has a surprisingly good selection of Chinese restaurants.

Pizza once a week is perfect. There are a lot of good pizza places in Cincinnati as well so nice to be able to change it up often.

I could live on pizza and coney dogs. However….I've been limiting my fat intake, so about 6 squares o Pizza King pizza is all I've had in the last couple months.

Thavoice, where do you get your slices?

I devour pizza. If it's there, I'm chowing down. I also (always) overindulge in beer. One is never enough.

Favorite guilty pleasure in Columbus is Massey's, second place is Cardo's.

Mrs. Zunardo and I went to Natalie's Coal-Fired Pizza in Worthington for the first time last week. We actually went to see Urban Jazz Coalition play, but we ended up ordering the pizza. Not too bad at all.

Most disappointing pizza moment: while in Chicago for a funeral, the wife and I went to a happening place next to our motel. It was busy, people going in non-stop, and it smelled wonderful. I remember thinking that this was the real thing, a great pizza made in Chicago. Turned out to have almost no flavor. I couldn't believe it. I'm still wondering what the locals saw in that pizza.

I thought I read where "real" Italian pizza in Italy is a disappointment to American tourists, because it is nearly unrecognizable to Americans and the American palate?

I've had pizza in Israel twice, both times in Jerusalem, two years apart. The first was at street-side cafe run by Arabs, it was very disappointing, mostly a crust with cheese and olive oil baked in, very little tomato sauce or zestiness. Second time was at a very-American like pizzeria. It was almost 30 years ago, but I recall the pizza being very tasty at the second place.

Here's a protip for some bomb pizza in NYC that's not NYC style....wood-fired.

The place has a crowd 95% of the time.

Go early and not during peaktime or you'll wait forever or not get in at all.

Also, I miss Tommy's on Lane. Ate that stuff regularly while at OSU.

I haven't had pizza in a long time....maybe 4-5 months. Maybe this weekend if my wife and I don't go out to dinner I might make some. I've got to load mine up with sauce. I can't stand pizza that's all bread and cheese. The sauce and lots of it is the key for me.

My friends had it in their Apt. when I visited about 2 yrs ago. It was fucking amazing, even 2 days later (re-heated, in a skillet, of course).

I tried to bring my parents there a few weeks ago at 6pm on a Saturday, huge mistake...didn't even get in and bailed.

I suggest going early afternoon. They have multiple bar areas where you can slam beers while you wait.

Since I live in Bowling Green I think that alone answers this question
