Bucks vs Ducks is just around the corner January 12.

What the plan? What are you going to do, are you planning a game day party?

i think the wife and will invite 6 couple (friends) to a appetizer championship party.
each couple bring a appetizer we will supply the main sandwich " duck " , drinks, dirt chips...

I'm taking Tuesday off so I can get appropriately drunj for the game.

And by "appropriately", I mean that I plan to be blacked out by the fourth quarter.

Watching at home with B-Dubs take out as soon as the toddler passes out for the night....same thing I did for the Sugar Bowl. No reason to make a change!

I'll be in Dallas looking to scalp some tickets or stumble on some relatively decently priced tix somehow.

More than happy to watch from an OSU bar though. Which is what ill probably do.

One of the few times working night shift comes in handy. I'm off Monday night. I'm not an OSU fan but it'll be a good game to watch.

I was just at Gaslight last Saturday (after getting drunk watching IU-GT at Kirkwoods). The fucking place needs to turn the space heaters up on the deck lol.

Monday and Tuesday are my Days off for work! Ill let the 2 year old stay up, because if I put the boy to bed, he will get woken up by the screams anyhow. They day before is my wife and I's 5th wedding anniversary, so casino gambling will be in order, which also means she took Monday and Tuesday off.....naps will probably be on rotation until kickoff. (we have a sitter) I don't know if I'll get drunk for this one. Though, in 2002, I was so wasted I had to ask if we won the next morning when woken up on my apartment floor by my best friend........so maybe getting wasted is the way to go!

Work as normal, come home and work out, run, eat dinner, shower, and turn the game on at 830 and hope it is a close game and I stay awake the whole time.

This. I don't get why the championship games are always during the week.

I might have a job interview that Tuesday. Fuck!

Only thing I have read over the years is they dont want to compete with the nfl and want the day to be all their own. If it were a sunday then ESPN would have to compromise something.....coverage of the NFL post game and shit, or pre game for college football.
Has to do with $$$ at some point.
I would love to see the Super bowl be on a saturday night but all the $$ involved wont let that happen!
Not that the NFL plays on Mon nights this time of year.

Hate, hate, hate the championship games on Monday or mid week as well. The NFL and CFB don't step on each others toes though, and this sat/sun is the divisional playoffs. I would have to think with some planning they could make this work out where the CFB plays on a weekend.
