Stay home. Seriously. If your butt takes up 2 seats at the football - baseball - hockey - whatever game; park that double wide in your lazy boy and stay there.
I sat by a man so fat tonight at Nationwide arena to watch the Jackets - he was too wide to sit in the seat. He had to sit on the edge of the seat. His shoulders and arms were both outside his seat and his legs took up more than half of the seat next to him. His knees extended half way into my seat.
The rest of the world needs not suffer because of your lack of control when it comes to Twinkies, Donuts, Snickers and 5000 calorie a day habit.

that sucks you had no room. We had a similar issue during the New Year's Eve game as well

Yeah, it's bullshit man. There should be a special section for obese people on airplanes and in sports arenas.

You have no more rights than that obese man. If you didn't like it you could have went back home and watched it. You have no idea what his situation was or why he weighed so much. A lot of people have health conditions that keep them from losing weight such as thyroid disease. Quit being so shallow and assuming it is just from eating too much.

Heres my thing on this. I agree to a point but today we took the family out to eat. There was a person smoking in the buidling. (we ate over in WV) There were no signs posted where smoking was and where it wasn't. Because of his smoking it really did kind of ruin our dinner because of the smell. I'm all for freedom but when things like this can ruin your day its not right. So if the man was in your seat you should have called an usher and had him moved to a more roomier area.
I'm a big guy and I always make sure that if I'm going to a theater or whatever that if it is grouded I always try to sight on the aisle that way I can spread out as much as I want and it doesn't hurt anyone.
In this country people think they are "special" and it is really getting old.

Proud to say I ran for about 40 minutes outside this morning.
Darn cold out, but was comfortable about 5 minutes into the run.

The man bought a ticket, but he was in your space. The ball is in your court to say something. If you keep quiet, it's YOUR fault, not his. He paid for HIS seat, and there is nothing wrong with that. The minute he is in YOUR space, then there is something wrong with that, but that is up to the business to decide.

It is not up to the GOVERNMENT to decided this stuff, if we are indeed a free country. It is up to supply and demand, producer and consumer.
In your situation, you ate at a restaurant that allowed smoking. That business owner wants it b/c the smokers business is much more valuable than the non-smokers, or he/she enjoys to allow people those freedoms. And you want to go to the Government to shut him down?

Or...next time YOU buy 2 tickets..that way if you get a fat man on one side..you can switch to the other seat.

I think that is called segregation? Why not make them drink from a fat only water fountain, or ride on the back of the bus? What a douche.

Yea like must be this tall to ride a ride, or skinny enough to wear the seat belt on a roller coaster? You're the idiot, it isn't segregation. You know America is full of obese people. Well..I guess so. I guess I am for rights of obese people that are obese b/c of medical reasons. How's that? If your obese b/c you can't get your lazy ass off the couch..then no..I don't feel sorry for you at all.
