why do you tards care about this game?

a msu win or loss has no impact on the "perception of the big ten"

"michigan state is gon' beat texas tech in a meaningless bowl game?!!!!11 the big ten roxxx!!!!!1"

--sorry that is not how it works

I'm willing to sacrifice a loss for the good of the Big Ten's reputation.
I have 26 confidence points riding on this one though lol.

rocket,

Thanks for being an ass for no reason. What the hell is wrong with rooting for a fellow Big Ten team?

Yeah, I hope Dantonio has a couple more tricks up his sleeve because he'll probably need them.

14 players out for Michigan St. A backup Qb at WR and they are in this game. I am proud of Michigan St in this one they played with a lot of heart with that many players gone.

Where MSU blew this game is when they had a 31-27 lead and had Tech at 3rd and about 14 and MSU decides to rush only 3. Easy first down and then a TD a couple of plays later and the game hasn't been the same since.

That's for the yahoo one. I just realized I'm ranked #1 in the Free Huddle ESPN group. Yay!

Yep, and you better have at least one game different from me the rest of the way. :)

MSU giving a 15 yard cushion on 3rd and 5.

Nice drop by the Tech WR, but they're goin for it on 4th anyway.

What the hell???

Same play and MSU doesn't use press coverage to take away the short route.

MSU allows the exact same play to be wide open, unreal. 4th and 5 and they play 8 yards off the guy. Beyond me. Why you wouldn't play right up on the receiver is just beyond me. If you get beat for a TD, so be it. But you can't give them an easy first down on 4th down with 3:30 to go in the game and you're down three.

Gutsy play call, not to go for it on 4th but that is a tough pass to complete

If Ruffin McNeal becomes head coach I would expect Texas Tech to almost immediately fall below .500.

What has he ever done? Texas Tech outscores opponents. The defense is horrible every single year. Only beating a 6-6 Michigan State team that has, what, 10-15 guys suspended by 3? Not impressive at all.

Bob Davie kills me. Anyone else notice that he can't say the word "football"? He calls it a "foot-bowel".

Agree with Mulva. Not at all impressive. Tech has home field advantage and 6-6 MSU loses 14 players and Tech is barely pulling this out.

Did Bob Davie recently make a comment phrased along the lines of, "If I was looking for a head job, I'd....." to his partner?

Best moment of the bowl season!
