Funny you said that. I was arguing with my boss at lunch about this very topic. I said the EXACT same thing. Keep in mind that not only do your Steelers play these teams but I think the two remaining teams, besides the AFC North, will probably be New England & Indianapolis. Although you guys did smoke Indy this year, your schedule looks brutal. Maybe the toughest in the league.

I was "generous" with the Browns 5 win prediction in that they have the Jets & Titans. I'm hoping for a split with the AFCN.

Apparently the league has verified it happened and are looking into the punishment as it is against the rules to use electronic devices in this fashion during the game.

I don't think he's lying. I do think he had a QB (Manziel) forced on him who wasn't ready to start.

Not sure if he felt Manziel was forced on him or not, nevertheless, it was time for Manziel to be forced on him. Had to see what he had, and now we know.

QB Coach Loggains was the one who was in Manzier's corner NOT Shanahan. According to Loggains Manzier texted him before the 1st Rd was even half over and said "Draft me alaready!" Loggains then texted Haslam and said "He wants to come here..." Haslam then told Pettine to "Pull the trigger on Manzier." Shanahan probably had a shit!

No. Shanahan wanted Manziel playing a longgg time ago. Therefore, he is a liar. What he did was concoct this story as a great excuse for getting out of town. Johnny played poorly, so "his story" was born. Also, it's pretty clear to me now that Shanahan took this job as a stepping stone, nothing more.

As for Manziel himself, people are absolute idiots for claiming the kid will never be good in this league. I pointed out numerous times that great quarterbacks played a lot worse than Manziel over a whole year...but the 7 quarter know it alls have labeled him a bust.

Let's see what he does next year before we pronounce the kid a bust.

It's very clear that

1) Manziel doesn't have an NFL arm

2) His partying is out of control. There have already been incidents in the week since the season has ended (right after he vowed to turn his life around and take things more seriously)

To me, success in sports is determined by a combination of ability and effort, with the ability threshold to even be competitive dramatically going up for each successive level an athlete reaches (ie: a guy who gets by on pure talent at one level might find their talent not up to the task at the next).

And therein lies the problem with Manziel. He obviously had the talent to excel in college, but that pure talent obviously didn't get the job done last year in the NFL. To have pro football relevance, it'll take the effort rising to help augment that talent. So far, at least, that doesn't seem to be happening.

There is the misnomer...Manzier had the receivers (Evans! C'mon man...) that made the little shit look good. Yeah he could scramble around like a chicken with it's head cut off and make some plays thanks to the guys around him but the bottom line is this fraud should never have won the Heisman on the first place. Another trophy won by the Media because the little midget made good video. He won't be in the league in 3 yrs...hopefully less of somebody can break him in half.

The Bills lose their head coach and get Rex and Greg Roman to take over as HC and OC.

We are still stuck with Goldberg and no OC wanting any part of this organization.

Just speaks to the problems associated with having a professional wrestling impersonator pretending to be an NFL head coach and a management team that allows it to happen.

I am going to have the biggest party ever when this POS is given his walking papers. Problem is it will be short lived because they will hire an even bigger POS to take over most likely.

God forbid we ever bring in someone qualified and committed to winning like other teams do when they fire the bums from their organization.

Personally, I think Manziel thought it was going to be easy and he could just skate by without putting in the work.

If they bring that piece of shit locker room cancer primadonna Hoyer back they will officially be the single biggest joke in the entire NFL. It won't even be close. He is a loser, and will sabotage any chance we would have at winning.

Farmer/Pettine should really just save us the time and resign now instead of being fired next year if their grand plan going forward at QB is to bring Hoyer back.

We saw more than enough of him to know what he is, and it is not a viable starting NFL QB. Not to mention he is the biggest whiner I have ever seen in my life.

He is such a primadonna he makes Johnny look like a hard working humble guy.

Being a Cleveland Brown is probably whats causing him to drink and do drugs.

I'd probably be shooting up too if I were a WR and knew my team was negotiating to bring that limp armed weak ass Hoyer back and have it ruin my career.

Fuck Farmer and Pettine is all I can say. This is all their fault, and Haslam is responsible for letting it happen.

As usual, weak. Gordon was a major f-up before he was drafted. Heckert rolled the dice on that one.
