They must have changed it recently, say within 3 yrs or so. Just doesn't seem punitive enough if there is one on one coverage on a WR on 1st down and they are the only ones on that side of the field, a quick slant is run and with the ball in the air the defender tackles him just 5 yds down the field to save a probable TD, and its just a 5 yd penalty.Sonofanump;1691672 wrote:Is is this the first game you have seen?

The presence of mind to land his foot parallel to the side line was amazing. And by the way, I think the rule should be changed anyway to be whichever part of the foot contacts the turf first is how its ruled. They count it when the toes drag, but the rest of the first foot comes down OB, but don't count it if the heel comes down first in bounds and then the toe comes down last OB.wildcats20;1691679 wrote:How the hell did he get his foot down???
