I think/hope Manziel gets the nod, help give the team a shot in the arm. Gordon can be his Mike Evans. Colts have the 23rd ranked defense, so we know we need to score touchdowns not field goals. Saw a stat yesterday, in the last 7 games the Browns D has forced 17 turnovers and only converted three into touchdowns, which is unacceptable.

If Manziel starts

Colts 24
Browns 27

if Hoyer starts

Colts 30
Browns 10
You are assuming the team wants Manziel....I am not sure that is the case. I would bet the line does not want him...you never know where Johnny will be and it is hard to block for that.

You block for where the QB is supposed to be, just like you make the hole for the RB where it is supposed to be. If they dont follow where they are supposed to go it is on them and the coaching staff knows who is in the wrong. The avg fan may not, but to those that matter it will.

If the Browns can't run the ball, it doesn't matter who starts.

I'm pretty sure Josh Gordon wants Manziel....you could see the frustration in his face several times Sunday.

Browns will start Johnny and in one of the most exciting Cleveland sports events in decades, the Browns will win a shootout ...something like 38-34. Next week's Bengals game will by default be the biggest game in the new Browns era, sans maybe the playoff loss to Pittsburgh in 02. It is the perfect storm for the rookie to step in and do his thing. No more bog downs in the red zone. No more stacking the box with 8 people. Most importantly.... no more dirtballs and air balls when Shanahan's schemes get receivers 10 yards in the clear.

Just licking my chops thinking about the play action boot for Johnny who will buy 5, 6, 7 seconds to find Hawk, Gabriel, Benjamin or Gordon.

Jr. and I will be there and it's "wreck this league" time for Johnny.

Gordon made this pretty clear in the preseason.

Little piece on the changes coming to the Browns helmet in 2015. I kinda like the second part......

The Browns tried out two kickers today, Michael Barnard and Zach Hocker.

Good.

Also heard that Hoyer sent out a tweet implying he'd be starting against Indy. I haven't found anything but will puke if I do....

He hasn't tweeted since October. Highly doubt it happened.

Also, Duron Carter can't even be signed til February. I don't see the point in bringing him in?

Start Manziel, and let Hoyer know that he needs to be ready to go at any moment. Hoyer as a backup in case Johnny gets hurt isn't a bad thing.
