Remember when ONN had them?bigdaddy2003;1681681 wrote:Just a reminder for anyone who anyone who wants to watch the games but can't make it to Columbus, the games are shown on Sports Time Ohio.
Our town didnt have a cable company that carried ONN early on and we drove over to Marion (maria stein marion local) to watch the game at the bar when they played MOgadore one year. They had free jello shots for each TD.
Well, they scored so much they ran out at halftime.....

It's fine because your punishment will be conveniently deferred until after footballthavoice;1681557 wrote:At least you didnt come upon a dear decoy in the middle of the road after a hill.....

Just imagine if a Mauk had done it, as around there it might as well be Jesus Christ himself setting the decoy in that case. You'd have never even heard it happened

Didn't have a true dog in the fight. I'm from NWO so its nice to see a local team win something for the area but I would nearly always side with a public school over a private school in any other case.
Fun game. Didn't notice the blatant, uncalled holding but I only really watched the 4th quarter. Did notice the entire line other than the center plus the RB false start on the game winning TD on 4th down.

Very entertaining game indeed...but there have been better.
Burrow is a stud, but not sure he is OSU caliber. I see him as a great MAC QB. Reminds me of Chad Pennington, but runs better!

Dont think he will fit the profile that Meyer will ultimately choose at the QB spot.Old Rider;1682517 wrote:Very entertaining game indeed...but there have been better.

Game came down to the missed EP early in the game and the dropped INT at the end in the end zone. Was hoping for the public school to win.

I think he'll be a perfect fit. Very much in the Barrett mold. Very accurate passer that will run when he needs to.thavoice;1682575 wrote:Dont think he will fit the profile that Meyer will ultimately choose at the QB spot.

Possibly. Havent seen him run much as I only got to see last night, but OSU has Barrett, another couple of fantastic QB's coming in, just have to wonder how much of a chance he will get.se-alum;1682606 wrote:I think he'll be a perfect fit. This is just my opinion of course, but it could be his Redshirt Junior year before he ever gets on the field. I don't think Meyer will sit Gibson for 3 years grooming him as a QB, so I fully expect him to be a WR for the Bucks. Obviously Burrow is an excellent passer, but I also like the intangibles. He's spent a lot of time around a D1 football program, and by all accounts is a student of the game. It will be interesting to follow over the next couple years.thavoice;1682620 wrote:Possibly. Not sure I would be comparing him to Barrett...however he does throw a nice ball and looks like a pretty good runner.se-alum;1682606 wrote:I think he'll be a perfect fit. Very much in the Barrett mold. Very accurate passer that will run when he needs to.

Definitely not saying he will be as good as Barrett, just that they are similar in style. Both are smart players, accurate passers, and can run the ball when they need to. Hopefully Burrows gets a few years with Tom Herman, but I don't really expect Herman to be here much longer.Old Rider;1682632 wrote:Not sure I would be comparing him to Barrett...however he does throw a nice ball and looks like a pretty good runner.

Man, high school officials are terrible. I have no rooting interest in the Kirtland/Minster game, but there has been a beyond bogus PI on Kirtland, then a terrible missed facemask.
