Pretty trashy display after the game is "over". Not surprising coming from shitsburgh.

It's coming from the same coach who tried to trip an opposing player last year.iclfan2;1672788 wrote:Pretty trashy display after the game is "over". Not surprising coming from shitsburgh.

You think that came from Tomlin? I am guessing 100% player decision (OU Bobcat Mike Mitchell)

Dirty ass team. Rape and cheap shots, that's what the steelers do.

The saddest thing about yesterday is that I can't even say I was remotely surprised. If there's one thing I've gotten way too used to, it's this team utterly choking virtually every time they play one of the league's shit teams.
"Hey, we utterly decimated Indy and Baltimore!!! Let's sleepwalk through the Jets...I mean, what can go wrong?"
*cue "life comes at you fast"*

@RossTuckerNFL: Aren't many playoff teams over the years that lose to a 1-8 team on road or otherwise winless team at home. Steelers did both.

I blame coaching staff (Tomlin, Haley)Commander of Awesome;1672958 wrote:@RossTuckerNFL: Aren't many playoff teams over the years that lose to a 1-8 team on road or otherwise winless team at home. Steelers did both.
Rex and staff dominated them

I could tell that Pittsburgh was given the kiss of death in the pregame when one of the analysts said "Ben could throw for another 6 TD's today." That and Bieber (second kiss of death).

I have to agree. THe coaches knew this could easily be a letdown game and they failed to do anything to try and overcome it. CLassic example of a team not being ready to play and think they could just walk onto the field and win.Ironman92;1672971 wrote:I blame coaching staff (Tomlin, Haley)

Haley is as inconsistent as they come, but he's not entirely to blame. Just a total shit performance. I'll give Brown a pass because he's been amazing this year, but those mistakes looked like the AB of three years ago.

That first pick that Roethlisberger I'd give him a pass on in that it was a helluva defensive play (still a dicey throw there) but that second pick he channeled his inner 'Derek Anderson/Brandon Weeden' airmailing one of those "WTF" throws.Automatik;1673012 wrote:Haley is as inconsistent as they come, but he's not entirely to blame. Yeah he just lofted it up there. Looked like fucking Dalton.
I give some props to Vick. I thought he was going to suck it up. That long TD pass was a beauty, didn't think he had that in him anymore.

That can work if there was an all out blitz and man coverage..but they rushed 3 guys! Terrible throw, and an even more awful read by BR.Automatik;1673016 wrote:Yeah he just lofted it up there. Looked like fucking Dalton.

The short passing game early really bugged the hell outta me. Jets shoulda won that game by 3-4 TD's.

I knew that wasn't happening. Their offense is an abortion.thavoice;1673022 wrote: Jets shoulda won that game by 3-4 TD's.
As Auto said, I didn't think Vick had that throw in him. In fact, I didn't think he had a turnover free game in him. When #93 sacked Vick from the blindside I thought for sure Vick would cough it up. After watching the replay, the LB who made the sack may have actually done the wrong thing by wrapping his arms around Vick. It actually looked like it helped him secure the ball.

True. And with the way we play against sucky teams, that could spell trouble, as you guys are really sucking right now.Azubuike24;1672754 wrote:They still play Cincinnati twice though.

Well Imeant with how the steelers were giving it away they shoulda won by that much.BR1986FB;1673024 wrote:I knew that wasn't happening. Their offense is an abortion.

Yeah..was thinking the same thing on that sack, plus I also thought he coulda gotten a roughing penalty by throwing him down like that. The true ballhawks come down hard on the football trying to strip it. James harrisson needs to teach him a few things.

An article about this was posted on Facebook. A lot of "reader comments" coming from Steeler fans defending him due to it being a "one possession game" and "it worked for a team a couple of years ago", etc.thavoice;1673090 wrote:HEfty fine should be in order for that asshole.
That being said, the shot that Babin had on Roethlisberger was pretty cheap too. I'm sure Babin will lose a little in his paycheck for that hit.

People are idiots. I have never seen that work before at the end of the game on a kneel down. I have seen TP do it a time or two on a regular play and be disruptive, although it wasnt that dramatic of running up to the line like that. There was a dustup last year or two about a defense who bum rushed the QB on a kneel down...wanna say the Titans and/or buccs were involved maybe?BR1986FB;1673095 wrote:An article about this was posted on Facebook. When it first happened, my thoughts were "effin Polamalu....why would he do that shit there?" until I remembered Troy didn't play.thavoice;1673098 wrote:People are idiots. You'd never see my beloved Patriots pulling that kinda shit. But then again you'd never see my long time favorite team the Pats losing to the shitty Jets in the first place.
