JR Smith shows up...when they're down by double digits with a couple minutes left in the elimination game.

Alright... Time to resign TT. Time to resign Shump. Pick up whoever you can get with your mid level exception and get to work.

Kyrie, Shump, LeBron, Love, and Mozgov
With Jr., Delly, TT, Andy giving good minutes off the bench. 3 guys coming off the bench who gave the best team in the league all they could handle. I'm already ready for it.

Great season by the Cavs. Disappointed by we have a great team and if we can be healthy next year we are the heavy favorites to win. I want to play the Warriors next year with a full team and stomp them by 50 points per game.

And whatever you get from the Haywood deal, which should be a solid rotational piece.

They should try and sign Ohio boy Norris Cole, believe he is a free agent.

They still get someone from that deal, or are you saying they do deal him here before August?

Was a fun season. A ton of ups and downs. Will be a very interesting off season. Decisions on keeping guys, trading guys, letting guys go. Definitely take more seasons like this one, than the last 4.

Eh, I don't think the Cavs have too much of decisions to make being where we were in the cap. They pretty much have to resign people they have b/c they don't have cap to go out and sign FA. It's probably going to hurt Gilberts wallet to resign all of his guys, but he doesn't have much of a choice if he wants to keep this team rolling.

Luckily the cap is raised after next season, so it won't hurt Gilbert as much. Cavs still have some wiggle room to make moves to improve the roster.

Do they though?

Lebron makes 22 mil next year
love makes 17
andy makes 10
kyries makes 15
jr makes 6
TT will get probably 15
Mozgov gets 5
Miller gets 3
Shump will get at least 5 if not 7
Delly will get 2
Harris gets 1

That's already at 100 mil from 11 guys. I cant find what the cap is next year, but it's only 63 mil this year, it wont go up 40 mil for next. So we don't have cap room to sign FA.. we can only resign our own guys or do sign and trades.

Even if you don't sign TT and Shump, you're at 80 and cant sign anyone else and down 2 solid players. That's why we have to resign our guys.

It all depends on Gilbert, but I doubt he looks to save money for one year especially after being so close to a title. After paying most guys to come back, the cavs can still use the MLE and they also have Haywood's contract. It's not going to be a massive roster change (they don't need that), but we will see some moves that help cut the fat and make the team deeper.

It was a fun ride while it lasted. It sucks but I'm not overly disappointed. That rag tag group, minus Kyrie & Love, had no business being in the Finals but they fought & scrapped the whole series. For that, Cleveland fans should be proud. I think we all know that if the Cavs had been at full strength we'd be celebrating a championship after game 4 of that series.

My biggest question is: will David Blatt be back? Probably sounds crazy after the season they had but I have this feeling he won't.

I already ruled out Haywoods 10 mil assuming we cut him. That's not in the 100 mil.
I bet Gilbert does resign his guys too. B/c he has to. He can't go out and get anyone else. Don't have cap room for it.
