Andy was our leading scorer and the game still came down to the last possession against the Spurs. I do question Blatt some this game. In a chess match at the end, he had Harris instead of Marion in on a key defensive possession where he got beat off of a cut. Not sure why Waiters didn't get more minute either.

That was bad and Harris got torched, Marion would not have.Pick6;1676199 wrote:Andy was our leading scorer and the game still came down to the last possession against the Spurs. LeBron turned it over twice in the last 2 minutes.

My opinion: Stop putting it ALL on your shoulders, assuming you're the savior. Just fucking LEAD.

Definitely a poor game by the Cavaliers offensively, but I think that is a result of the Spurs forcing us to use more energy at the defensive end of the floor. A few positives I took away from the game...
1) Kyrie played some incredible defense on Tony Parker. Parker was essentially a non-factor the entire game.
2) We shot half as many free throws as the Spurs and were still right in it at the very end.
3) None of the big 3 played well on offense, Andy led our team in scoring, and we still only lost by 2 to the defending world champions.
4) Pop seems to have faith in the future of this Cavaliers team, and he's one of the most highly regarded coaches in the NBA. "I’m glad we played them now," Popovich said. "The Cavs, what you see now you can multiply by two or three. They’re going to be a hell of a team."

LBJ has been lackadaisical in crunch time in several games. He needs to wake TFU. Quit bitching about "the process" and start playing like the best player in the league.

Just sloppy basketball. Too many careless or "fancy" passes, too much whining about calls, too much pouting after bad decisions. It's time to realize that you're still playing against NBA competition. These guys are in the league for a reason. They're going to kick your behind if you don't bring your "A" game and play the right way each night.

Shock treatment for Cav fans. LBJ has been horrible for his standards connecting on a paltry 45% of his shots. Last year he connected on 57%. Wasn't a believer that his weight loss would mean anyone, but I'm beginning to wonder. The bench has to be the worst in basketball with both Dion and Harris shooting at 38%. Love was good tonight but he has been dreadful connecting for only 39% from the field. These are sorry numbers folks.
And then you factor in the poor defense and the sloppy ball handling, you have a recipe for disaster. Don't know how much of this is David Blatt's fault, but he may be gone by Christmas.

Obviously prefer not to see them lose, but let me know if they're under .500 at the all-star break. Then I'll worry.

Cavs suck. Probably wont even make the playoffs. Love and Lebron leave making us worse than this years 76ers. 0-82 next season.

Team is obviously gonna be fine, but the bench is terrible. Don't really see that changing.

Is it just me or do lbj and love almost never look like they're talking to each other. They seem to have no chemistry. Just me?

For the love of God get Dion Waiters off this team.
His negativity is in a stratosphere even I can't imagine and that is really saying something.

Last nights win aside, up until then, Lebron looked like he just wasn't "into it" during that 4 game skid. Don't know what's going on with him but hopefully last night fixed it. So far, the best player on the team has been Kyrie, who is giving effort and trying to improve on defense.Midstate01;1678015 wrote:Is it just me or do lbj and love almost never look like they're talking to each other. Need to get love going and more engaged in the offense.
I will say I just lol when NBA heads say the cavs #1 need is a wing defender. We gave up a wing defender with the highest upside in the association for love.
I think another paint defender is almost more important. Not sure who's available though. But a Chris Anderson without the child porn would really help this squad out.

I still think we should have kept Wiggins and Bennett. I don't really feel like Love has been worth it, yet.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. So far, neither Love nor wiggins have looked great.sleeper;1678223 wrote:I still think we should have kept Wiggins and Bennett. I don't really feel like Love has been worth it, yet.
