I would bet good money in the meeting between DG and Lebron that DG told Lebron if he came back he would do whatever it takes to build a championship level team, which includes writing a blank check to make it happen. I think one of the things that pissed off Lebron was the Heat's ownership trying to pinch pennies by making questionable roster moves; whereas DG has zero history of that.
