That being said, you don't put Manziel in until the season spirals out of control. You're sending a piss poor message to the whole team if you bail on Hoyer after 2 weeks.
I think we all know that Hoyer is not the future of this franchise. It's ok for a rookie not to start, especially without gordon out there. I am not saying Hoyer is great, but how many QBs in the league would be torching defenses without Cameron, gordon, and any type of running game? Legitimate question, do you guys think $100 mil Dalton would do better than Hoyer with the same personnel?
