So the Champion isn't always the best team? Interesting.

But hey.... if you come across with enough conviction and repeat the same thing over and over, we'll eventually see that you're right.
This is all subjective, it's nothing that I can prove. The argument that they are one of the last 4 teams left so that makes them a top 4 team argument is beyond flawed though is what I'm saying.

Rockets won the division that the spurs were in....had all season to prove they were better than the rockets...except they couldn't Cuz they weren't better.

Do you even notice when people roll their eyes at you? I bet happens daily.
You're the coolest, anyone who knows basketball knows that the Spurs would beat down the Rockets, sorry you don't agree with me that must mean I'm wrong.

It doesn't when they also have the 3rd best record in the league.

Everyone quit wasting your time. This is what it's like arguing with Rob. Never mind who actually won the games/series; they didn't pass his eye test.

In the NCAA, I'd say more often than not the best team doesn't win it all.

When you're arguing a 7-game series, it's much tougher to justify someone winning the series not being the best.

All I was trying to say(in my opinion) is that they are the worst of the 4 remaining teams and that I believe there are also teams that have been eliminated that are better than them, Spurs, Grizzlies, Bulls. I would put them around 7 or so, but they are one of the 4 left so props to them.

Like in 2011, most people thought and agreed that the Buckeyes were the best team in the country, and Brandon Knight beat them on a last second shot.

Glad someone brought up the 2011 UConn title already as proof of this statement. I never understood why people think the NCAA tournament or any tournament crowns the best team. Often it probably does work out that way, but there are cases where it doesn't. However, as previously mentioned as well a series tournament does tend to be a better indicator than a single elimination.

It's too bad the Clippers had to suck it up because they'd be a better match up for the Warriors. Rockets aren't that good.
