For those curious:
Adams' father, Sid, was an*Englishman*who settled in New Zealand after serving in theRoyal Navy. Adams is the youngest of Sid's 18 children with five different women; his mother is*Tongan. His siblings and half-siblings are notable for their exceptional size and athletic prowess; his brothers average 6'9" (2.06 m) and his sisters average 6'0" (1.83 m).[3]
One of Adams' sisters is double Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion shot-putter,*Valerie Adams.[3]*One of Adams' brothers is*NZNBL*player, Sid Adams, Jr.[4]
Adams has identified his father's death in 2006 as one of the defining events of his life.

Anthony Davis with 36 points, 14 rebounds, 9 blocks, and 7 assists. His offensive game is improving. Hard to believe he and Kyrie are 22.

Durant might be done for the season
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12521706/kevin-durant-oklahoma-city-thunder-removed-basketball-activities
Did LeBron somehow curse the NBA MVP?
2008-2009 LeBron James
2009-2010 LeBron James
2010-2011 Derrick Rose
Following season tears his ACL in the opening round of the playoffs and we know the rest of the story.
2011-2012 LeBron James
2012-2013 LeBron James
2013-2014 Kevin Durant
Fall 2014 KD has a broken foot, screws inserted. Second surgery to try to fix a nagging pain. Now being removed from all basketball activities and might be done.

Surprised pick6 hasn't posted yet about dion waiters. It's his go to to post when he has a good night (trying desperately to show how smart he is, huge fail) yet no where to be seen when dion sucks (most of the time).

you're obsession with me is pathetic. I haven't talked about Dion one way or the other since he has left the Cavs, because I don't care. I could bring up your fails, but I have a life.Commander of Awesome;1715344 wrote:Surprised pick6 hasn't posted yet about dion waiters. Aldridge and Batum both went down with injuries tonight. I really like Portland, but losing those two hurts big time.

I am reading an article about OKC without Durant and had to share the Waiters part of the article. I couldn't be happier with the way that trade worked out.

Waiters has been a disaster in Oklahoma City, shooting 37 percent overall and a Josh Smith–esque 27 percent from deep, and defenses are getting braver about abandoning him:
Waiters is mostly taking some of the most godawful off-the-dribble 2s you’ll ever see. I’m pretty sure he set an unofficial league record for layups that hit only the backboard against Boston on Wednesday.

I'm not really upset about the act (Pushing the guy), but once you saw it hurt a little kid, go check on her.

Finally getting a chance to watch the Jazz since the Kanter trade. Gobert is legit.

I've been surprised at how good Kanter has been in OKC, but Gobert's length is insane.Commander of Awesome;1715959 wrote:Finally getting a chance to watch the Jazz since the Kanter trade. Gobert is legit.
