So, USC squeaks by OSU earlier in the year, Oregon completely annihilates USC later in the year, and at the end of the year OSU beats Oregon. So, where does that leave the conference talk? Point 1: I would argue that as most of us know, that conference talk(strength and weakness) is the dumbest facet of college football talk to become popular since the inception of the BCS. This again makes it apparent that arguing conference strength and weakness is kinda dumb and arbitrary.
