Nothing major, as of late, but I do plan on buying a couple of expensive Halloween props for our zombie graveyard tonight.

Where CCRunner lives, the COL is pretty cheap. So, actually, a $235k home is probably quite nice.

Last thing I will ever say in CCrunner's defense.

That maybe true for older existing homes, but building is a different animal. Lumber is lumber and its expensive anywhere you go.. any new construction supply is expensive right now. The only thing you can save on in a certain area is a builders profit margin and the cost of the land. If you're building a house for 230,000 anywhere, its either tiny or full of lowest quality supplies around.

Went there a few years ago, stayed at the Valentin Imperial Maya. Nice place.

We're in the market for plane tickets to Hawaii now (May trip). Not looking forward to that purchase.

Helps when I can get there for free with SkyMiles. Dates were not what we initially wanted, as Air Tahiti only releases seats to Delta/American on certain flights on certain days. But, well worth it. Business Class from LAX to PPT. Only have to pay for ORD to LAX for 2...but I might wait and try to use the Miles I get the next 6 months on that one, but the fiancee obviously is gonna freak out about not having a seat 9 months in advance lol

Nope, not in the market. I did understand your wife's post though. Will keep it in mind in the future when I am in the market.
