Miami isn't going to be push over either. They have a pretty young, talent-loaded team.

Never too early to start talking about next year!
OSU will be favorites in every game. Miami got exposed against Wisconsin, and I'm sure that the OSU coaches will be watching that game film. Wisconsin will be the toughest game. I think Iowa comes back down to earth next year even though they return most.
Hopefully OSU doesn't have that slip up game next year like Purdue this year. I think with everyone gaining another years experience, Pryor hopefully growing up, a better running game, OSU should be able to avoid it.

Mostly. Tolzien, Clay, Ball, Toon etc all return to contribute on offense just thinking.ccrunner609 wrote: Doesnt Wisky return just about everyone?
Wisconsin, Ohio State, Iowa, and UM off the top of my head return a lot of players.

That schedule looks pretty tough to me. I'm not sure about the Ohio game, but, that game is not a pushover game either. Those Bobcats down there in Athens are...ummm...squirrely, yeah, squirrely.

Tough schedule for sure. The road games in conference play are never easy, especially Wisky and Iowa.

OU graduates a lot of talent. I think they take a step back next year as a young club.
Wisky and Iowa are the toughest road tests; Miami won't be easy, and no matter what happens you're always squirly about scUM

That's a blistering non-conference schedule
I say they lose to Miami, and then either Wisky,Iowa,or Michigan

Its a better OOC than you'll see from half the teams in the SEC/Pac 10

I'm actually shocked by the OOC schedule.
For OSU, its loaded with talent. Eastern Michigan though probably gets beat 50-0 however.

You've gotta give us credit: its a lot better than Florida playing people like Furman, Western Carolina, The Citadel, FIU, and others...

Because you play ONE good team???
Miami (OH)
USF
Appalachian State
at Florida State
Appy State and Eastern Michigan are a wash(Appy State would beat them though)
If you look at the rest of the schedule....Florida's OOC is better than OSU's next year

Ohio State will be favored in all but two: Iowa and Wisky. Those two teams both return just about everyone; especially key offensive players. At least one, but likely both, game will have OSU as an underdog because of home field.

I think we'd be more underdogs at Wisky than in Iowa City... we normally play well there (except for '04)

Was that supposed to make sense? Is it the rest of the schedule, or just OOC? I didn't understand a word of your post.
I can assure you, Miami is tougher than Florida St. A lot tougher. Miami is going to be a very good team next year. If it is just OOC, well congrats to Florida for scheduling South Florida, the perennial overrated team, both Marshall and Ohio are tougher match-ups.

So you pick up USF.... ok, you'll blow them out, USF is better( and yeah they beat a weak ass Florida State team). Miami is way better than Florida State. Congrats on adding a shitty Miami Ohio

Wisconsin, Iowa and I think Miami (Fla) will be tuff games. Not sure how many seniors Miami loses.

Elliot Stabler.....Big deal that Florida added Louisville for 2013/2014. The Buckeyes are scheduled to play Oklahoma in 2016-2017. Granted this is still many years away and i'm sure you'll try to belittle OU because of this year's team, but OSU is continuing to step up and play perrenial powers each year in their OOC. You want to brag about USF, Miami (Oh), App St, and FSU - USF proves its immensely overrated every year, Miami of Ohio is the equivalent of a solid Florida high school team, App St was considered an equivalent to Youngstown State for years, and FSU has underachieved the last 10 seasons. But keep telling yourself that Florida has a better OOC than OSU......The rest of us posters will just keep telling ourselves how illogical your reasoning is (not just on this thread).

App St would beat the OOC teams OSU plays next year with exception of Miami. FSU has underachieved? What has Miami Fl done since 2001?

Doubtful. This isn't the same App St team that beat Michigan.karen lotz wrote: App St would beat the OOC teams OSU plays next year with exception of Miami. FSU has underachieved? What has Miami Fl done since 2001?

Karen lotz.....Miami played for a national championship in 2002, Florida State hasn't been to a big dance since 1999. Yes Miami went through a period of down years, but that's expected when you experience a significant coaching change. FSU continued to bring in phenomenal players, great speed, and talent, but Bowden couldn't get them to produce. To me, that spells out "underachieving" much more than a Miami team that was totally rebuilt from the bottom up when Coker was fired. Oh, and now FSU undergoes a major coaching change, which means it will probably be a few years before they are back in the mix of things and competing for a national title. Yes, Jimbo Fisher knows the system and there won't be much of a drop off, but I highly doubt FSU will have more success than Miami in the near future.
