I'm just going by the rankings. This isn't a debate of whether the rankings are rock solid fair. It's very possible an SEC champ could have that type of resume.

People aren't seeing it, but given the schedules, there is a decent chance Oregon, Florida State and Oklahoma go undefeated.

I think this is pretty spot on, but I think the media stigma against the Big Ten will hurt MSU and help a team from the Big XII (Oklahoma?) sneak into the Playoffs, and while I do think Georgia is the best team in the SEC, I tend to think Azubuike is right in that it's the SEC West winner who makes it and not the Easy -- unless the West all beats up on each other which is very possible.Ironman92;1655983 wrote:Everyone seems to think about 5 teams have a chance to occupy one for the 4 spots.

The SEC West has Alabama and a bunch of scrubs. Fucking Miss St just pounded LSU and Missouri just got shit stomped by Indiana. Missouri is in the East. I'd say the West has 6 of the top 8 in the conference. Not sure about Ole Miss and Miss. State, but Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M are all legit.

Not sure your point? Arkansas? Terrible. Ole Miss? Garbage. Miss State? So what they beat a terrible LSU team. I'll give you Auburn and Alabama based on their recent success, but A&M? The only thing A&M has done in the past 15 years is send an overrated QB to the NFL with a Heisman, join the SEC, and almost lose to Duke in a bowl game. DUKE. I have no idea why Oregon tried to run it so much in the 2nd half. Especially in 2nd and longs. They put themselves in bad spots the whole second half and let Arizona blitz that terrible oline.

Saw some writer on twitter (forget who it was) saying that if either OSU or MSU run the table, they will be in the playoff. I can see MSU. OSU is currently 20th. Havent broken it down, but I see them probably landing somewhere between 13-15 after all the upsets. They have one big game left vs MSU. If they win that, they are playing Nebaska or Wisconsin in the B1G championship. Chances are they will be lowly ranked or not ranked at all. Nebraska will slip up and Wisconsin just lost to 3-2 Northwestern...I dont see how they can make up that much room with that schedule left, but crazier things have happened.
Lets hope for a lot of losing. The SEC teams taking turns taking each other out will be fun to watch.
