Oh Browns. Another heartbreaking opening day loss.

At least they didn't just roll over, though. The fight is encouraging.

Seriously. How the fuck do you make those 2nd and 3rd down plays after taking 40 seconds after 1st down when they didn't get shit. How fucking stupid can someone be?

Who does the coach have more confidence in? A kicker to make a 53 yg FG before the weather has cooled down? Or an aggressive, immature, impatient bunch of special team players, whose intelligence is questionable, to down a punt inside the 5 yd line?

Well one gives Pittsburgh the ball about 23 yards closer to FG range but if ever a 54 yard FG is to be had in that stadium....that was the time. Not sure a FG of that distance has ever been kicked there

Vintage Browns. Haden got pwned, hoyer was lucky with several dropped ints. His pocket awareness is trash. Gilbert looked like a rookie, I'm not worried. Shazier looks like a stud.

Nate Ulrich ‏@NateUlrichABJ 5m #Browns QB Brian Hoyer blamed himself for broken play before CLE's last FG. "We had 2 plays like that & I thought it was the other one."

Say what you want about Hoyer and the offense, but the browns defense lost that game. That was just a pathetic performance on their part.

Brown should be suspended though.

Yeah if you are blaming hoyer in this game you are a fucktard. He had a horrible first half but when was the last time a browns QB looked that good in the second half? He wasn't the problem, the problem was the defense. But you'll have a bunch of retards blaming hoyer regardless.

Coaching is too blame, IMO.

Also, I was at the bar so I couldn't hear, but why did Pettine not challenge the touchback on that punt?

Didn't look like one to me, it would have been worth a challenge. They ended the game with 1 time out. They obviously didn't need to save time outs.

Hoyer's cement feet is a huge detriment and so yes...I blame him for losing the game. He takes wayyy too many sacks...and the one inside the 2 minute warning was an absolute killer and should NEVER happen in that spot. There is no doubt in my mind that Manziel wins that game.On a bright side, Crowell showed me a lot and the offensive line did a great job. Not one sack can be blamed on the line.As for Gilbert...I don't remember a D back being that clueless. Pathetic. To me, the Browns eschewing Wadkins for Gilbert might be one of the biggest draft blunders of all time. Especially given the fact that Buffalo's pick next year isn't gonna be very good at all.

I can't find video and may not remember correctly but the 3 Browns guys....one was in the end zone, 1 had ball on the 1 and another just in the way and momentum took the player w/ball forward some and the in the way player a bit more and as the ball was going down I believe it grazed the player in the end zone.

Looked replay worthy to me as well. You'd like to assume Pettine had people upstairs advising him one way or the other.

That is a real Browns fan right there. Props to that guy. I am so fucking sick of the Hoyer myopia that has taken over this town. The guy is a 2nd rate bum that looks great when the other team gives up and plays prevent all half.

When they were actually competing he proved to be exactly who we knew he was.

Im not going to lie, thee first half I was screaming for Manziel but did Hoyer prove me wrong in the 2nd half. Granted he had some INTS dropped. And next week you have to get West and Crowell more involved. Those two were down right nasty today, thats the kinda of ground and pound I like to see. Shove it down the other teams throat and they cant stop it.

But that is the most CLE way to lose ever. I knew it too, when big Ben got the ball back, I knew it was over. Hopefully against the Saints we pick up where we left off. Miles Austin did way better than I thought, Hawkins and Gabriel looked good as well. Hopefully Gordon can get that suspension reversed.

Gilbert looked BAD. But how did Antino Brown get away with that push off on Haden on that TD pass? It couldnt have been more obvious, he pushed off TWICE, should have been PI. Also he should be suspended for kicking the punter in the face.
