The jv game is completely overrated when you have 37 guys. If you have 5 injured and 5 ineligible that leaves you with 27 guys. There are no " second wave" guys. Those young guys you think would be getting experience in the jv game are playing somewhere on Fridays. It could be offense, defense or special teams but he's using them somewhere. You start using any of those 27 for jv games and you're a few injuries away from being able to conduct a full varsity practice. Rozum knows how to control small rosters to prevent injuries. For example, we never tackled at practice period. We literally only tackled one time in three years of practice.

I love the history factor here. You would not happen to the year-by-year or game by game results for Campbell High. I need them for my database.

Difference back then was they didn't tackle in practice but they actually knew how to tackle..... Things have changed, hopefully they can wrap up against range and make it a game.

You are correct! You still have to teach the fundamentals of tackling.Ohio;1650630 wrote:Difference back then was they didn't tackle in practice but they actually knew how to tackle..... Things have changed, hopefully they can wrap up against range and make it a game.

Sikora wasn't at the Gridiron meeting last week... nor has he been to one in a long time. He hasn't been to one since I started going in 2011, and I'd venture to guess that he hasn't been to one in decades.soupcitysoldier;1651678 wrote:Crazy question. However, there's no love lost between Kuntz and Sikora...
Why do you ask?
