Ok fuckers, since you all cannot win games without me I will put my 10-3 record on the line for the next three games in Colorado. I will start them all now since after tonite I wont have web access until monday again.
I know we dont usually put more than one game per thread, but the talk has gotten pretty sparse and hell, we need to shake shit up.

This team is brutal. Cueto is starting tonite so they may win if he can shutout the rocks. Saturday is TBA so it could be any one of us pitching....SUnday I have no idea as I have not looked that far ahead.

Price has done the best he could, even with some questionable lineups recently, but there is only so much you can do with BP and Votto out, Bruce hitting in the low 200's, BH under .200 since the break, Meseraco back to earth, etc, etc, etc.

If someone told me this team would be around .500 with this mess going on I would have called them a liar.
With that said, the reds still have a shot at winning 100 games this season.

..and still a shot at LOSING 100 games this season....

The misery continues to this 2nd game with the Reds failing after the first two reach and were at 2nd and 3rd with one out!

It's reckless that Hannahannnahannahan gets a start at first and Mesoraco on the bench...ESPECIALLY without Frazier!

Where's the offense ? Frazier can't play...ok so replace him with our worst offensive player?

I'd rather Skip be at first base.

I just can't fathom how Ludwick and Mesoraco can't play first base. Luddy is 6'3 and solid with his glove....zero, ZERO (Thom voice) doubt that Ludwick can play first. Meso is a good athlete and I just don't believe that he can't play first.

Again, I'd rather have Skip at first

They need to change the rule about legally being able to slide past the bag into the defender.

As well as the unwritten "neighborhood" rule.

Judging off the blooper that fell in front of Bruce to set-up the tying run, it looks like in the altitude that not only do the balls fly farther in the thin air, but they fall out of the air more quickly giving the outfielders less of a chance to charge in and catch them.

He is playing very very deep and that was a poor jump

Yes, but watching the ball flight on TV it just seemed like the ball came down very fast. Would like to see it in person. My son went to game there in person, so I'll have to ask him if he noticed any such thing.

Big hit by Negron! Maybe that will help him be on the team next year ahead of some $2 million a year back-up. If BP comes back well before Sept 1, will they DFA Hannahan before they send Negron down for a week or two?

Great key catch by Billy for the first out. That ball was coming down fast, but his forward speed caught up to it!

I want Negron to start nearly every day the rest of the season....honestly right now he's as productive as BP and has great range. He can play everywhere but pitcher or catcher

How about we give fuckin Skip Schumaker a start every fucking game. He's fucking terrible and he doesn't do shit when the Reds win...just bloops a hit here and there in losses.

I hate so many aspects of this team.

Latos is lucky to only have 3 ER in 3 innings. Hitters are hitting ropes.

Everyone chipping in today pretty much. Negron needs to start game 3 today as well....but won't.
