Damn td in overtime
I still would've felt good going into OT, most teams kick a FG over a TD.

My one money league team is scoring points like crazy. I have never won a football league and as of right now I have a solid chance.

You were lucky the game even went to overtime and had a chance. Denver was outplayed start to almost finish. If Denver covers that game, it is a bad beat for those who had the Seahawks. Seattle was the right side.

LoL. Nothing personal. I had Seattle. I would have pissed if they didn't cover after dominating all game.

Sports betting never happens how it should. I would know, I've lost so many games this year that I "deserved" to win.

Once in a. While I'll take a bit of luck lol

I never said deserved. You don't deserve anything. All you can do is you be on the right side with as close to the best line you can get. You put yourself in those situation as much as possible and you will win long term. Luck can run in streaks.

If I wanted to be a dick, I would mention that Seattle was favored by 6 most of the week and if you would have gotten the best number...you would have pushed. But you probably waited until Sunday afternoon and played whatever line was available. But I don't want to be a dick so I won't mention it.

Sports betting is obviously luck, especially in the fact you cannot do anything personally about the outcome. However, people make a living off of it. If you are good, you can win.

You also gotta have money to lay down and huge balls. But, with the proper dedication and studying, you can win 55-60% of bets and make a living.

There is luck involved in each individual game. But if you consistently make winning decisions, you can win. What does that involve? Certainly not looking at the lines Sunday at noon and deciding who to bet. You have to know the market. Maybe there is a game you want to wait until 5 minutes before kickoff to get the best line. Another game you might want to bet on Tuesday. Most of my plays are in during the week. I might save a few for Sunday if I think the lines are going move in my favor.

For example, this week I got the Redskins at +7 vs the Eagles. The game closed right before kickoff at 4. Now, everybody on the Redskins won so it didn't matter but if that game lands on 6 or 7...I have a win or push while everybody else has a loser. As I mentioned before, I had the Seahawks vs the Broncos. I waited until gametime to play that as the Broncos got a lot of the gameday love. I got the Seattle at -4. I played the Cowboys at -1 on Saturday. Right before the game they were 2.5 or 3.

Am I always right? Of course not but studying the market is the first step if you actually want to be good. I played the Bills at -2.5. Could have gotten -1 on game day but I wanted to make sure it didn't move to 3 on me.

Most of these didn't matter this week but if you consistently do this over the course of the weeks, months, years...you will add a couple percentages to your winning percentage. Turn losers into pushes and winners. Pushes into winners. Adds up to a ton of money.

It is similar to poker. The best players win more than the worst players. But there is luck involved in any given hand. All you can do it get your money in with the best hand as much as possible and long term...you will win. But you can be unlucky and lose for a night, a week, a month... and so on.

I'm thinking of offering Demaryius Thomas for Kelvin Benjamin, somebody talk me out of it. My other WRs are Brandon Marshall, Michael Crabtree, Jeremy Maclin, TY Hilton, and when he gets back Josh Gordon (12 team PPR league as well). It's a keeper league and with the salary set up I'll be able to have either one for years, but I think Benjamin will consistently put up points whereas Thomas will have more high games but more low games due to so many other weapons.

We might see teams try to take Benjamin away with double teams. I can't see teams letting Benjamin consistently beat them when Carolina has limited options at WR. Thomas will always get his. I wouldn't take too much away from the Seattle game. Those guys do a number on everybody.

I'm just pissed my team is 1-2 when I've had the best team for 2 years and haven't won the title, so I'm just anxious to do something and need to be talked out of it, lol. Thomas has had 2 games under 10 points this year already and seems like Peyton is totally fine not throwing to him, and Benjamin looks like he's going to be a star for years so was just thinking about it even though it is crazy. Normally I don't ask for trade advice but I need some rational thought here since I know I don't have it, lol.

Yeah you don't want to make any crazy moves when you are upset with your team lol think rationally, if you think you want Benjamin for keeper purposes then think about it. But don't do it because you think Benjamin will be better than Thomas this year. Thomas will be fine. Peyton will get him the ball. And I don't trust newton to consistently get it to Benjamin.

Thomas will pull it around. The other guy is looking to buy low. You don't want to trade a top fantasy player for a guy who is only owned in 60% of leagues.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't be giving up on Thomas yet. Maybe if this continues for the next 4-5 weeks. It's not like you're stuck with Vincent Jackson, fucking bum.

You guys have talked me off the ledge, thank you, lol.

I got Vincent Jackson in one auction league because I was bidding somebody up on him and they stopped. Wasn't a bad price if he would be good but because I got him I didn't want to spend the money on Jeremy Maclin. Also got Kaepernick in the same situation when I really wanted Matt Ryan or Nick Foles. FML in that league, lol.

Terry, I've got to say I can relate. I came out of my draft extremely pleased. I had quality (supposedly) depth at RB, and I was happy with my WR's and IDP's. Here I sit, 0-3, and I still don't think my team is bad, but I almost feel as if I HAVE to make a move. You'd think having Lacy, LeVeon Bell, Gerhart, and Ingram coming into the season that I would be fine. Unfortunately, Gerhart and Lacy have both sucked, and Ingram is hurt. I have added Donald Brown which looks to be carrying the load for SD after all the injuries, but I'm still frustrated with the lack of production I'm receiving from Alshon, VJax, and Randle/GJennings.

9-1 on the season in my three leagues. Looking good so far.

Had a bit of an open-ended question: After this last game, Rashad Jennings looked REALLY good, and he's going to get the workload, but might he be a good candidate for sell-high trade bait?

I'd keep him. He has 46 fantasy points through 3 games so far, but I guess it all depends on what else you have.

Trade proposed to me. Basically its bench player for bench player

Give: Larry Fitzgerald
Get: T-Rich 3.0

My RB's after my botched trade to pick up AD are Zac Stacy and DMac, with West or Tate as a flex. Have waiver claims to pick up Forsett, and Shonn Greene.

My WRs are Golden Tate, Randall Cobb, Reggie Wayne, Kenny Stills, and Mike Evans.

I'm leaning towards doing it, but just wanted to make sure i'm not crazy

Watch Taliaferro for the Ravens. It was just one week but if Pierce stays out he may be a nice pick up.
