Those are very respectable scores. Golf Magazine once said that 87% of all people who play golf more than 5 times / year never break 100. Its the greatest, frustrating, enjoyable, disapointing sport there is.

I played with a buddy of mine who I grew up with as neighbors last week. I had played well the weekend before shooting a 77 and missed a lot of putts so I agreed to play him $5 a hole even though he's much better than me.Tiernan;1640469 wrote:Those are very respectable scores. I played ok and shot a 78.. he shot a 62. I owed him $90 since pushes carry over to the next hole.
If we were playing handicaps he would have owed me 11 at at +5.1

he's a +5.1 .. that means he's below par handicap
Reading is tough.

Haven't been to FF since middle school. Played the Player's Club towards the end of last summer. It wasn't in that great of shape.Tiernan;1640481 wrote:Fox Fire from the whites at 6100

I agree...Players Club is pricey for what it is @ $51 yesterday compared to FF @ $37. Fox Fire was in good shape I thought. But what courses aren't in good shape this summer?...plenty of rain and cool temps make for good golf.
P.S. Bring it Durkie - make the call, when & where?

I hit in the mid-60's's all the time. I'd play with you fucks, but I don't like fishing. So I'm going to stay home.

I usually hit low 60's myself,
but that was on a local Par 3 local 9hole course.
Did have a hole in one though.

Tiernan shoots 84 with three fish for a net 78 and takes his own Invitational and the $60 first prize plus another $18 for birdie skins on 10 and 17. Bow down to me OC.

Ive heard good things about that course...real value for the money they say. I gotta be up that way either the last week of Aug or 1st week in Sept. Can you get out on a weekday after say 1:00?vball10set;1643100 wrote:The farthest south I get is Forrest Creason in BG...sorry.
