Michael Brantley makes the AL reserve list. Kluber is on the list for the final spot from the fan vote. Other than that, no Tribe representation at the All-Star game.

Bourn on the 15 day DL. Too bad Morgan is still out.

^^^^Ouch!

as far as Tribe reps on the all star team ... What other position player besides Chiz deserves it?... Is even close? As far a Kluber goes, he should not have to get in by " fan vote". ... Should have been put straight on.

Surprised Chisenhall wasn't on the fan vote and VERY surprised Kluber didn't make it outright.

The AL catcher spot is weak. I could have seen Gomes as a reserve. But obviously not upset about it.

Kluber got squeezed by the every team being represented rule. Price and Lester are the lone reps for Tampa and Boston, I believe.

This is a chance for the Tribe to really get some momentum, and belief, moving forward to/out of the ASG.

If they can take 3/4, that is 3 series wins in a row and puts us over .500 with the Sox coming to town to round out the 1st half. Win that series as well (decent pitching match-ups/...miss Sale, as of now), and you are over .500 (even winning Sox series and splitting with Yanks). I think psychologically, that is a big hurdle they need to be shooting for.

It will put them, probably, in 3rd place...but maybe 2nd if KC falters.

Kluber should be an All-Star. W/L record isn't great, mostly due to a couple bullpen failures and a lack of run support. His ERA is worthy and he is 4th in the Majors in strikeouts.

Brantley deserved a spot and got it. I go back and forth on Chiz. His average is still great but his average topped out at .393 on June 11. Since then, he has lost nearly 60 points off that average in less than a month. In the 21 games since his 3HR/9RBI breakout, he has had just 7 RBIs. 33% of his home runs came in one game and just about 25% of his RBIs were in that game as well. If you take away that game he has 6 homers and 30 RBIs the rest of the year. Plus, there are some really good 3rd basemen in the AL.

Indians acquire outfielder Chris Dickerson from the Pirates.

Solid guy as far as marginal big-leaguers go (in other words, good for the short term, just don't count on him for the long term). He just didn't have a place in the Pirates organization because their strength as far as positions go is the outfield. Honestly, I don't know why he signed with Pittsburgh, unless it was under one of those, "If I'm not in the bigs by a certain date, you're trading me, right?" sort of deals.

Beforehand, I know he had his moments with the Reds and a couple other teams, so he's been around. He was hitting well in AAA, so he potentially could be more than just a warm body, at least.

It's getting increasingly more difficult watching Masterson pitch. It seems every hitter knows exactly what's coming.

This is painful to watch.

Action in the Tribe pen in the 2nd. Masty's only out was a baserunning error by the Yankees. He is beyond wild. Gomes has no idea where they are going back there.

His agent made a huge mistake. I feel bad for him because I like him.

Great play by Santana to end the inning.

That will do it. Masty can't record an out in the 3rd. 2+ innings. 3 runs and responsible for the runners on base.

Just an awful outing. His command was dreadful.

Masterson can be sent to triple A. I'd rather watch Salazar learn to pitch then continue to watch this garbage by our "Ace"

I would say that Greene has no hit stuff but considering this team has been 1 hit twice in the last 8 days...I would say it is more likely the offense making him look good.

Swisher sucks so bad that whenever he does anything he styles it like he won a World Series game. It was cute when he was hitting .260...just annoying now.

He hit a double on Sunday of the series the Tigers swept us. He was 0-11 in the series and hit a bases empty double down 10-1 and I swear to God to did a whole God damned rosary at 2nd base before the next hitter stepped in.

Worth noting is another dreadful performance by our second baseman. The base running booboo was little league-esque. His failure to turn 2 cost the team another run. We must have the worst double play combo in the league this year.
