Leake with a career high(by 4) 12 strikeouts. The one run, a HR to LF, by the rookie on a lucky, off balance swing on a 0-2 slider which was on the low outside corner. Marty said of the 3-2 K pitch, to Sandoval with 2 on and one out with a 1-0 score, that Leake had the guts of a 2nd story burglar.
I would like to know how much BPs running pace changed from when Bruce's ball to CF was hit until it went off the wall, compared to after it hit the wall and he realized he needed to score a big 2 out insurance run! If Bruce was on first there, its an easy score, much easier than his one tonight on the Cozart corner shot! I think BP gave that run away, and the possibility for more before the ball hit the wall.

Very nice win. Leake sounded like he was pitching really well last night.

I think the announcers said that he would still not running at full strength due to his leg injury or whatevermhs95_06;1630867 wrote:Leake with a career high(by 4) 12 strikeouts. Announcers are pretty known for greatly defending some of the Reds players. On my MLB ap is showed BP taking about 13 seconds from his lead off at first until making it home.....maybe slightly slow for him but damn near his speed anymore.gport_tennis;1630897 wrote:I think the announcers said that he would still not running at full strength due to his leg injury or whatever
