Quick 2 game set wedged between off days. Should be all hands on deck in the pen coming off an off day and with another looming on Thursday.

9:40 First pitch both nights.

Tuesday- Masterson (4-5 4.75) vs Miley (3-6 4.62)
Wednesday- Kluber (6-5 3.30) vs Anderson (5-2 3.18)

Game notes are slim pickens for an interleague game. Masty threw vs Arizona in 2008 and the Tribe have never seen Miley.

DBacks are not a good team, especially at home. Just 14-27 in their friendly confines.
The Tribe boast a 6-3 record coming of a day off.
The bad news for the Tribe is that they are still a terrible 14-24 on the road and 9-15 vs left-handed starters.

I'll be at the game Wednesday on the left field line near the bullpen. If you guys see someone on TV in that area in a Brohio shirt and blue Cavs hat, that's me.

I don't want a split here. These are two that need to be wins.

Run production could be at a premium with the pitcher having to hit these 2 games.

Rayburn is in the line-up and he is terrible, and Chis has dropped to 7th in the order and is hitting only .156 his last 9 games since Tito benched him that one game against Boston.

Other than Brantley no one in tonight's line-up is hitting over .270. Keeping rally's going when guys get on base is going to be a must in what should be 2 very winnable games.

Chis with a 2 run triple and Raburn drives him home with a sac fly for a 4-1 lead on the 2nd.

Tribe giving Masty some support. He needs to throw a couple 0's up there.

Masterson cannot find the strike zone....walks the pitcher who scores.....geez D'backs back in the game now 5-4.

If the pitcher gets a hit...then so be it. But no excuse to ever walk a pitcher. Tribe determined to get Masty a win. Have another rally going in the 5th but will Masty be able to get through 5?

Shorten the swing with 2 strikes and a guy on 3rd. Ugh.

Bases loaded nobody out. No runs. Going to bed. Not optimistic for the outcome in the AM...despite the current lead.

Man, that was a great pitch by Reed to strikeout Kipnis for the 2nd out in the ninth.

kipnis seems to get caught looking a lot recently in clutch situations.

I went to bed early because it was a very, very frustrating game to watch. After reading about it, I'm glad I did. :(

Time to give credit to the FO for not signing Masterson??? Lol. I wouldn't even want this guy for the "discount" he was willing to take.

Still seething from last night's game:RpS_angry:....so many ways to win that game, so many critical failures.

Down but not out:

Grady Sizemore, recently cut by the Red Sox, has signed a minor league contract with the Phillies and is assigned to their AAA club, Lehigh Valley.

Alright fellas I'm about to head up to Phoenix and bring us some luck. I'll be 3 rows up directly left of the bullpen by the left foul pole wearing a Brohio shirt, white shorts, and an old school Cavs hat. If anyone sees me, post what point in the game so I can go back on DVR and find it lol.

They usually seek out Tribe fans in opposing stadiums on STO so you have a shot. However, I am assuming that even if you have MLB Extra Innings, you will not be able to catch the STO feed because it would be blacked out due to you being able to watch on FS Arizona. Either way, I'll keep my eyes peeled.
