BP is out due to his ridiculous swing on the first pitch of his second AB yesterday vs Dickey. He was trying to hit a knuckleball out of the stadium....follow thru had his bat drill his heel....just like you are taught at camp

I hope BP is out for a while so we get to see Schumaker (Ironmans favorite player) in the lineup everyday. The guy is just so good!!!!!!

Says it all. The rest of the team is starting to come together but BP is still lagging behind. This doesn't even consider his attitude, approach and prior comments he's made to ruffle feathers in the organization.

Maybe azu is racist. Only thing that would explain the constant BP bashing when there's so many more players/coaches to hate on.

Again, you guys have to take the BP bashing in a relative sense. The guy thought he was worth way more money than his 13M a year...yet his OPS is under Billy Hamilton's? And yes, he got hurt trying to hit a knuckleball 600 feet.

BTW, I have a bad feeling about this game if the Reds can't score more than 1. Hopefully Simon can get through 7 and we can get right to Broxton and Chapman. It would be nice to not see any of the Parra, Hoover or Ondrusek trio tonight.

Should have sent Billy home on the hit by Frazier! Hamilton was stealing on the pitch and was flying and the throw from the CF came to 2B. No chance they could have relayed to home in time to cut down the insurance run.

Strategy to stop Billy at 3rd paid off in the Meso grand slam, and may have kept Aroldis from getting into the game.
