Other night they had all the tickets our town cops issued last month and it was a bit interesting.

80+% were out of towners. It isnt like we are a pass by town so I am thinking the cops in the small town like to give warnings to locals.....and revenue enhance on the outsiders!

....and I got a warning out of state about two weeks ago on 47 in a 35

Cops in small towns see the plates of someone who is not from around there, issues the ticket, doesnt have to worry about it being contested in court. No one is gonna drive back somewhere if they arent from pretty close to fight a ticket.

That's the truth...at least it was in the small town I grew up in 40 years ago. I'd work in the streets and service dept. for a summer job and knew all the cops, and that's pretty much the way it was. They'd work the highway and a blind curve for the revenue, but were easy on the locals. The mayor didn't like the local law enforcement being too aggressive with the residents( bad for his perrennial re-election), so unless you were completely wreckless or a frequent offender, you pretty much got a warning for minor traffic violations. They knew who all the drunks were too....and most of the time if they were DUI they'd just take them home. It seems pretty funny when you consider how it is today.

You can be sure if some cop is trying to forcibly take blood from me, somebody is probably gonna get killed...and it may well be me but I'm fkg going kamikaze on his ass before he ever sticks a needle in my arm.

Check your law old man, mandatory blood draws are illegal without warrant. Lawyer up as any sane person would in such a circumstance.
