Bruce down to .208 and on pace for like 50 RBI. I don't get why he is so bad this year. I truly thought he was going to have an incredible season.

I'm not convinced Skip is ever part of the best lineup possible. I'll assume Skip has better numbers off of Beckett than Ludwick...if not it's fucking stupid.

No one...none of them are very good but damnit Ludwick was 2/4 with a HR yesterday. Skip gets too many starts on this team.

Cozart has the 4th lowest OPS of all starters in baseball, luckily Skip's is even lower making the bottom of the order murderer's row.

I agree. If Skip starts, you have one of the worst LF's in baseball. If Ludwick starts, it's the same. If Heisey starts, it's the same. Too bad their making about 11M combined...

It baffles me how Jocketty didn't go get a LF in the offseason...especially with Castellini showing he's willing to spend.

Can the Reds even see Beckett? They are swinging wildly. Bruce swings at one near his ankles and then swung at one above his shoulders...Meso wailing away. Leake seems to have no confidence ( or he just knows he doesn't have his good stuff)....but this might already by over.

Heck, I think Leake looks pretty good. The Reds could win this if they can get 3 or 4 runs.

Yeah, I normally bash Leake, but not because he's awful. He's just very rarely capable of going toe to toe with a top starter or against a top offense. That makes it very tough when your offense averages about 1-2 runs a game.

I dunno. Kemp looks like Garbage. Freaking Van Slyke looked like Kemp circa 2011 last night.
