Had to do a field sobriety test once in my early 20's, got pulled over 100 yards from house, did test in driveway! Passed like a boss! Tiernan you're just a failure.

I learned in my early 20's that being drunk was never a good idea... it took a few hard lessons but I got it.
Lucky for me never a DUI ... few and or totaled wrecked cars and motorcycle along with injuries, few lost bar fights and lots of lost opportunity to have a relationship with a beautiful women after hours. Drunk never pulls you in a winning situation that would explain being a drunk and loser go hand and hand.
I drink very little now (a) beer on a hot day after working in the yard or at a party, one Irish coffee after a dinning out and a glass of wine with friends. Demonstrating control it seems to be more appealing to the women folk. You can’t take the drunk out of the bar but you can take his women …

In other words you've been sloppy shit faced numerous times in your early years but were lucky enough to never have been caught by the cops. I take it by the "few" you didn't learn the first time crashing while drunk.Belly35;1628118 wrote: Lucky for me never a DUI ... few and or totaled wrecked cars and motorcycle along with injuries, few lost bar fights and lots of lost opportunity to have a relationship with a beautiful women after hours.

Passenger in a car with 3 others. I was way too concerned about getting laid/didnt really realize how drunk the girl was to realize it was a bad idea. She almost killed us a few times, but I reached over and steered the car back into the right lane. Told her to pull over. She pulled over into a strip mall parking lot and parked halfway on the grass and pavement. Cops came about a minute later behind us and she had to say the alphabet backwards. I asked if I could get out of the car and he said ok. She got to "Z" and fucked up lolol. He goes, "Ma'am, you're failing miserably."
He said if she get back in the car, he would issue a DUI, so we needed a new way home. I asked him if I could drive us home and I was just about a mile from my apt. He asked me to walk a line to test me first, and I was able to do it fine. Said to be careful and sent us on the way. I asked for a note in case someone else pulled us over and he laughed and said, "nice try". lol

Ha. Classic asking for a note! 2 years ago a local cop let someone go who apparently passed the field sobriety test. Kid got into an accident within the hour and killed a couple of people. He and the dept are getting sued.Laley23;1631742 wrote:Passenger in a car with 3 others. Had a cop almost try to bait us, well me, into a DUI a couple of years ago. Was attending a Jackyl concert in Ft Wayne at the old mall where there was a bar. I wasnt drinking..just to set it straight. We get there and get out of the car, others are pretty hammered. We didnt see many cars so we were standing around aimlessly. A cop came over to us and asked what was up. He could tell a number of people in the car had been drinking. Told them of the concert and he was like "oh, that is on the other side of the building, pretty far walk and you best to probably drive". The passengers all get into the car. The cop gets into his cruiser and sits there.
and waits.
and waits.
I tell everyone to get the hell out of the car..that we are walking and motioned over to the cop sitting there. We started to walk and once we got around the corner he left.

I could do it...but not in a timely fashion. I'd have to say it normal, and work my way backwards as I got close to my spot. Incrementally saying less and less of the alphabet.Pick6;1633290 wrote:lmao..I couldn't say the alphabet backwards if I were stone cold sober.
My best friend is part of the Toledo PD. He said they are looking for you to say, "Z Y X W" without much trouble and then they know nobody can accomplish the task lol. If you get that far, you "passed". Then again, he's told me 99% of them would rather call you a ride from a relative or something and wait while they picked you up. If you can get a ride within 30 minutes, they don't even give you a ticket for anything.

I've never driven drunk. I was at a party in a corn field once with about 300 people. (A lot of them underage, myself included) The cops showed up and said if everyone left they wouldn't arrest anyone. I was with my cousin and I told him there was no way we were leaving with 300 drunk assholes on the road. We slept it off in my truck. The next day we found out they were waiting for everyone on the road and busted a shit ton of people

Never drove drunk, never will.
If I were a cop, I'd bust everyone who was or had. Pretty stupid to do it, if you ask me.

That would suck for all those people who did so in the past, but were just sitting on their porch being responsible when you showed up.OSH;1634383 wrote:Never drove drunk, never will.

What's reasonable is not drinking and driving. Really not hard to stay away from doing it.TedSheckler;1634600 wrote:Sounds reasonable.

Well, I guess it depends on the punishments that were handed out. Many a DUI/DWI recipients have been slapped on the wrist. I don't like that, I'd slap a little harder.vball10set;1634640 wrote:I understand your saying you'd bust everyone who was, but why would you bust everyone who had??
Oh, yeah, that's right. A high horse expects people to be sober and driving. To drive responsibly. To not put their lives and the lives of others at danger. If that's the case, then yes, the horse is high.SportsAndLady;1634646 wrote:OSH must have a really high horse

So you'd punish them some more, even if their offense was years in the past?OSH;1634767 wrote:Well, I guess it depends on the punishments that were handed out. Many a DUI/DWI recipients have been slapped on the wrist. I don't like that, I'd slap a little harder.
I wish I could get my head as far up your ass as your own head is. Maybe I could then see things from your point of view.
