I saw Wilford Brimley interviewed after the race and his was also pissed.

Today this old fool said he didn't mean to hurt anybody's feelings when he said letting fresh horses into the Belmont was "...like me at 6'2' playing basketball against a kid in a wheelchair". Obviously not real hip to today's PC environment. Then when he was called on it, he apologized and amended it to "...like my jockey Espinoza playing basketball against Wilt Chamberlain". The guy should be in the Non-PC HOF...he took out Physically Challenged, Hispanics, Short People, Blacks playing basketball and Dead People all in one tirade!

Just watched the apology on ESPN again. Ya know when ya really think about it, its sad that some old guys don't have the brass ones to stand by their prejudices and just say "fuck you" to the rest of the world anymore. Watching this dude and Sterling both crawling to the media practically begging for forgiveness over the past couple of weeks is sickening. For Gods sakes have the guts to stand up and say "the rest of you pissants might not like what I believe or say but guess what fuckers?...I'm an old rich white asshole and I don't GAF what you think of me."

So many people deeply wounded by such careless statements...
