Ballack also said the US has no quality and Lalas was attacking him because he was sounding like we can't beat Germany or any good team. Ballak has been talking shit about the US this entire tournament.

Oh, so they have been beefing? I just noticed the part when Ballack was going at Lalas. I recall Ballack saying something along the lines that we lack quality. I just get pissed off whenever I hear Lalas being his normal asshole self.

Also, I don't think we can beat Germany. lol

Ballack has really kinda been an asshole this entire world cup towards the US and of course they always have Lalas on the show so they go at it.

Re: Ballack. I didn't see it, but I'd believe it. Do you guys remember last world cup when Lalas was getting on Rossi for not choosing usa and Ballack said "Well, maybe he wants to win something in his lifetime". It's clear he doesn't rate USA all that high...

I don't care either but for the general American public who doesn't follow soccer or maybe just watches every 4 years I can see why. They don't expect anyone ever to say you can't win something.

I'm not upset at all lol. I'm just saying it shows that Ballack doesn't really rate us. He's not wrong, but I don't think he's wrong saying we aren't the same quality as some of the better countries in the world, either.

The history between Ballack and Lalas is probably why he tries to get under Alexi's skin to start shit. There is definitely some tension there.

Did Rossi even make the World Cup team in 2010?

I don't know much about him to even know if he would have made the US team. I know he couldn't break in at United. That's about it.
