Big series as the Tribe has come alive at home and yet another sweep sees them sitting in 4th and only 6 games back.

Sox have been red hot of late, so this certainly won't be easy. Tribe does get to send Kluber in the 3rd game, and with the way he has pitched, you have to like your chances every time he toes the rubber. Another sweep would be great, but you just hope for 2/3. Masterson needs to pitch like he is a #1 and get us a win.

^^^ Nothing seems 'easy' with this team. I'll be going tomorrow. First two games are going to have to deal with rain.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Matt Underwood sucks.

Walked four in the first 3 innings as well.

Also struck out the side in the 4th on 9 pitches. Obviously cannot be done better, but I wonder how many times its EVER been done.

Shaw and Allen appear to have been overworked early on. Would like to see some blow-outs (preferrably in our favor lol) to get them some consistent rest...not just days off here and there, but consistently only pitching 3 or less days a week for a few weeks.

Axford is gonna have to be able to regain his stuff for the Pen to survive.

Of course, Tito will have to trust other guys outside of Scrabble, Shaw and Allen for this to happen anyway.

Masterson finally showing up and being the Ace we want him to be. Great outing for him.

Offense did enough. Looked a lot better than the 3 runs they put up, but Lackey will do that to you with all the GIDPs he induces.

This outing by Justin really puts them in a great position to get the series win. Tomorrow will be tough (Peavy vs. House) and then Kluber going in the finale is a great match-up for Cleveland no matter who is out there (Workman in this case).

House had a great outing last time out......let's see if he can put together consecutive good performances.

I think the only chance we have tonight is that Boston hasn't seen House yet. They murder left-handed pitching. 13-7 in games where the opposition starts a lefty. They score nearly a run more per game vs lefties and their team OBP is 25 points better. Hopefully he can fool them enough for 5 or 6 innings. Or we just smoke Peavy.

Last time we saw Peavy, he went 7 only giving up 1 run while striking out 11 and walking none in a game last season. He is 5-3 lifetime vs the Tribe.

The only thing I do know about the Tribe is that whatever you expect to happen; rarely happens. So I am sure we will hang 10 runs tonight and House will pitch into the 8th. And I would be very excited about that.

Peavy is far from untouchable...he sports a 4.50 ERA.

He loves the Tribe it seems, though. Probably 4 hit us through 8.
