I like the switching of superstitions.

That other one was garbage

Beed JC to eat up innings after last night's marathon, which he usually does.

So that means this will be his shortest, worst outing of the season.

Radio said that BP and BH made great catches last night...will have to check them out.

So is Meso only playing like every other game because he's still a little injured or what?

Am assuming he caught all 15 innings last night?
Imagine that and coming off the DL has something to do with it.

So what's wrong with Ludwick because he simply never sits out 2 games in a row....and Skip in RF instead of LF is questionable.

I'm so glad Ryan Ludwick and his .665 OPS is a starting OF for 9M a year...

Swinging at every first pitch and worked in the first.....we'll see how Fister adjusts.

Cueto doesn't look greatly sharp early on

Its in his contract that when he gets a day off, if he has to pinch hit(like he did last night late), he gets the next game off!

Will the bad omen of scoring in the first trump the good omen of Cueto pitching? In the 7 games they've finished since my birthday, the Reds have scored 1 or 2 runs in the first inning in 4 of the games and lost them all. They have scored no runs in the first twice and won them both. And once they scored 3 runs in the first and won with Cueto pitching.

The Reds have had barely any days off this year. This explains why Mesoraco got the night off, despite being the only guy in the lineup besides Frazier who can hit.

Price was willing to sacrifice this game 2-1. After all, it's only May. Games don't matter until August or later.

I think Mes got the night off because Cueto is pitching. The last 3 starts, Cueto has thrown to Pena. No sense messing with that if they have something good going.

Throw in the fact that he caught 15 innings last night.

Truth. But even if he was 100% healthy and they only played 5 yesterday, he was sitting today.

Play Mes at 1st. Play Frazier at 3rd. At worst, it would be 1-1 with a chance to actually score another run.

That would be too intelligent...instead, Santiago is starting?

Good point. I think you're right on with that idea.

Seriously....please stop putting Skip in CF and RF, just stop it. He's gritty and I like that we have him, but he's not an all-star and really not a starter either.

Well that sucked. I blame sports nation for having a poll about best pitcher in baseball and JC winning.
